And although subsequent Nigerian courts had ruled in favor of Kanu, ordering his unconditional release and acquittal, citing the legitimacy of his agitation for self-determination through a peaceful means, the Nigerian supreme court during its landmark judgement on 15th December, 2023 failed to neither uphold the judgement of its subordinate courts nor give an informed ruling of its own. Instead, it reverted the case back to the Federal high court which a year earlier stated that it lack the jurisdiction to give a sound judgement on the case. The Supreme Court also erroneously justified the continued incarceration of Kanu in the DSS cell.

Nnamdi Kanu has committed no crime known to law, aside demanding the conduct of a United Nations' supervised referendum for the people of Eastern Nigeria - who are largely agreed to have suffered oppression and subjugation, since the unconsented amalgamation of the Nigerian entity by colonial Britain in 1914. So, the inhumane judgement delivered by the Supreme Court of course, sparked great dissatisfaction, especially in the East, and in IPOB movement who for years had continued to have faith in the Nigerian Judiciary, paced themselves in the face of unprecedented provocations, extrajudicial killings and forceful abductions of their folks without fair trial, this including the extraordinary rendition of the leader.

The IPOB Leader has on various occasions been reported to have serious life-threatening health complications owing to his tragic ordeal in Kenya, in the hands of his abductors who tortured him for eight days before bringing him to Nigeria. And until recently, Nigerian authorities did not allow him acesss to his personal doctors, and equally refused to release him either on the indispensable "discharge and acquittal" judgement of the appellate court, or grant him medical clemency leave on health grounds to undergo rigorous surgery to ascertain the level of damage that has been done to his person.

Thus, it has became speculatively clear enough, that Nigeria government as well as their supposed co-conspirators on both local and foreign levels have decided that, having not been able to immediately jail the IPOB leader - which they had thought would be a cakewalk upon his rendition, they are left with no other choice but to capitalize on his health complications to slowly but meticulously "extinguish" what is left of his physical being. They are carrying this out by allowing his inflicted injuries to continue to eat deep and deteriorate irreparably, while they scamper for ulterior means to bend the law and finally put him behind bars. For the purpose of clarity, it was United Kingdom that unconsultationally forced the merging of northern and southern protectorates, despite knowing that such union is like mixing oil and water. The Professor cleverly avoided mentioning that southerners(Biafrans especially) have been the casualties of United Kingdom’s instigated violence of divide and conquer since 1943 in Jos, the present day Plateau state. Again, in 1953 in Kano, there was a spontaneous anti-independence riots leading to loss of many Biafran lives. Again, why would a sane person not include the fact that before the 1967 continuation of the United Kingdom’s war of attrition, the Eastern region(Biafra) had one of the world’s fastest growing economy under Michael Iheonukara Okpara? Why would a simple question of why that region has no embassy, international cargo and commercial airports, seaports and infrastructure, 52 years after the war, not be asked? What is good for Tunde and Musa should also be good to Obi, if we claim we are one Nigeria. Why would the president of Nigeria choose to pacify Yoruba people but militarize Igbo land? Why did Buhari choose to honour June 12 of yesterday but forget over 3 million Biafrans brutally killed during the war? Going by the recent happenings in the South-East and South-South regions of Nigeria, the political leaders have rudely maintained adamant and negligence to plight of the people. The historical events, the aftermath, the repercussion of their greediness and shameless loyalty to maintain the evil promises of the Fulani caliphate, have so terribly overwhelmed their consciousness.

It is quite ironic that political leaders in Biafraland are now crying loud for the crippled businesses and properties they are presently losing which is occasioned by the attacks of the "unknown gunmen" within the South-East region particularly. This is coupled with the wastage of human lives due to the murderous activities of the Fulani killer herdsmen.

For almost a decade now, the so-called political elites kept mute over the senseless killings of our farmers and youths in their own ancestral farmlands by this Islamic killer squad that is ravagely terrorising the entire land. Such efforts fell on deaf ears and were intentionally ignored.

Over the past few months, there have been several records of attacks on government structures and security agencies, which were precipitated by the insensitivity of the murderous political party officials. The institutionalized corruption that have erupted in the Nigerian political parties have given rise to the killing of opponents and the innocent and being blamed on the Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB), the most peaceful freedom fighting movement globally.

The IPOB will therefore, not fold her hands and watch politicians initiate, commit crimes and turn round to blame such on IPOB. No well informed individual will ever contemplate tagging the over fifty (50) million indigenous people, terrorists for rightly placing demands for their freedom. It will be the greatest nightmare, when these citizens take to terrorism. It is callous and outrageous to imagine this great cultivation of monsters. IPOB cannot be ridiculed or maligned by mere accusation without evidential proofs.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu established a security outfit known as Eastern Security Network (ESN), purely to counter the bloody incursion of the Fulani herdsmen into Biafraland and all manner of terror relate activities against Biafrans, but the South Eastern governors connived with the Fulani leaders to counter the Eastern Security Network, through their establishment of the so-called Ebube Agu.

In Ebonyi State, the Ebube Agu Security has only been terrorising and killing peaceful IPOB members under the direct supervision of governor Dave Umahi.
