IPOB: TRUMP'S ORDER TO NIGERIA TO FREE BIAFRA IS THE PANACEA FOR PEACE IN WEST AFRICA

As the global community grapples with diverse degrees of ominous signs of devastating catastrophe, it becomes important to state here that all developments inimical to global peace must have to be proactively and promptly addressed. The United States of America for instance has recently brought to bear, her superior influence as a major world player on the Syrian devilish activities against a cross section of the citizens in the country. It was a decisive response to Assad's untamed hawkish regime's employment of chemical weapons usage against the Syrian rebel fighters which negates the United Nations law. In like manner, the United States President, Mr. Donald John Trump can assert his authority for enduring peace in the West African sub-region, in such a time like this. Thick clouds of despondency and disaster are gradually gathering over the horizon of West Africa and if urgent actions fail to be taken to expeditiously address such a looming danger, then the world should be prepared for imminent crisis this time around, from West Africa. This stems from the lacklustre attitude so far exhibited by the International community over the oppression of the indigenous ethnic nationality of Biafrans. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has for years now being steadily subjected to all manner of inhuman treatments and deaths in the hands of the Nigerian government just because of their democratic demands for the full and unfettered restoration of the sovereignty of Biafra.
The US President should be reminded that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as the world acclaimed most peaceful, democratic and well enlightened mass movement, has virtually adopted and exhausted all recommended approaches within the ambit of both local and international laws in pursuance of the restoration of Biafra which successive Nigerian governments have defiantly and blatantly opposed. They rather opted for crude and bizarre undemocratic processes in responding to the unquenchable yearnings of the Biafran people. A lot of Biafrans have been killed, maimed, brutalized, abducted and extra-judicially incarcerated by the military amongst others. The worst attack carried out against the peaceful and harmless Biafran agitators by the Nigerian soldiers was the use of chemical substances (raw acidic liquids). Quite a number of the captured family members of Biafrans suffered slow deaths and destruction in the hands of the Nigerian security forces inside military barracks in Onitsha, on 30th of May, 2016, to mention just one.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, therefore expect that the US President, Donald Trump would compel the Nigerian government to accept the most civilised democratic option of settling issues, which is the referendum or alternatively and outrightly, facilitate the immediate de-alienation of Biafra territory from Nigeria. It will not be in the interest of the United States of America to further delay or renege on the issue of the full restoration of Biafra as increasingly and presently being demanded. It would be useless employing financial, material and human resources in contending and trying to defeat hostilities arising from the neglect of the demand of the oppressed people. The Nigerian government has to be made to obey the International laws on people's freedom and self determination by allowing a conduction of free and acceptable referendum for Biafrans. It is only on this that enduring peace can be precipitated.
On Monday 30th of April 2018, Mr. Donald Trump will be on the threshold of history as he hosts Retired General Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian despotic President in the White House. He must as a world advocate for peace, freedom and people's rights, ensure that Buhari fully understands and abides by the tenets of various International laws which Nigeria is a signatory.
The United States Government it should be recalled, announced an invite of President Trump to President Buhari recently. The attention of the global community therefore, is focused on the outcome of that meeting especially, as it borders principally on the Biafran question. It is incumbent upon the tough talking, no-nonsense and action President of the United States of America, to spare the world, the African continent and of course, the West African sub-region, a dawning season of gruesome killings and devastation by categorically, ordering that the Nigerian government allows a hitch free referendum process for Biafrans. This is the only panacea for peace in the region.
The family members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, have exhaustively played their parts as democratically mandated by all civilised global laws and regulations for awareness creation and assistance.
The time is now set for the world to act. The leadership and membership of the IPOB globally can attest to the fact that the US President Donald Trump is not a merchant of crisis as well as other salient International organisations. Biafrans are therefore quite optimistic that the total restoration of the Biafran nation will form part of the agenda of the meeting between the two personalities in less than a week time in the White House. The Indigenous People of Biafra worldwide and all lovers/supporters of an independent Biafra will be waiting and watching with keen interest, the outcome of this all important meeting. Bruce Mayrock sacrificed his life for his love for a freed Biafran nation. He died for Biafrans in 1969 in his personal protest before the United Nations building in New York. May his soul rest in peace, Amen! We also hope to celebrate once again, the person of the United States President, Donald Trump, as he makes history by joining the efforts of late Bruce Mayrock, in fully liberating the over 70 million oppressed Biafran people through his meeting with Buhari and the ensuing developments.
Monday 30th of April 2018, will go down in human history as a day of a monumental achievement of the US President, as he commences the irreversible process of the eventual restoration of the Biafran nation. This will be for the sake of the promotion and protection of human rights, freedom and peace within the African continent and without the entire global community. Mr. Donald Trump must resist every trappings of deception and lies tyrant Buhari and his vampiric allies would want to place before him. He must have to do the needful by playing the men for the total emancipation of thousands of millions of generations of the Biafran people scattered all over the world.
