MUHAMMADU BUHARI: A TOKEN FOR BIAFRA RESTORATION

MUHAMMADU BUHARI: A TOKEN FOR BIAFRA RESTORATION

BY SOLOMON IWEJUO,
FOR FAMILY WRITERS.

Argument is a product of different opinions and perspectives which exists where two or more people coexist. Just as the man in any given environment plays out the genuine outcome of his environmental reactions, the fulfillment of such destined event, results from causation, making it a popular figure to be reckoned with. Meanwhile, the man who leads against the commonly acceptable believe of a particular section of people or groups is prepared to end in mystery that will propagate unending historical tracks.

Muhammadu Buhari's emergence as Nigeria president came to many as a surprise, no thanks to major roles played by religious discrimination, extremism, tribalism and corruption which paved way for his victory. In the north and west, it was a celebration galore; while in the east(Biafraland) it was not less than a re-emergence of an unrepentant dictator and a bigot, who will stop at nothing to ensure that his political enemies and religious 'infidels' are not left unpunished.

Then Radio Biafra which had been in the airwaves, largely unnoticed or ignored by Buhari's predecessors, took the center stage in the entirety of Biafraland, characterised with the irresistible captivating voice of Nnamdi Kanu, a man  whom God sent to liberate Biafrans from the shackles of marginalization, intimidation and mental slavery.

However,  Buhari's government desperation to clamp down on Radio Biafra and Nnamdi Kanu, in order to ensure that the contraction created by the British government stands firm, threw Radio Biafra and Nnamdi Kanu into international limelight, with unimaginable popularity that followed.

Buhari, during his inauguration, took an oath to uphold the constitution of Nigeria and to defend the citizens there in. Ironically, today Buhari goes against the constitution by disobeying court orders, orchestrating mass killings of innocent unarmed citizens with impunity, and has molded his administration as one characterised with incredible bigotry in all ramifications.

These unreasonable and hate-filled actions of Buhari have fastened the restoration of Biafra more than it could have ever been. He has succeeded in destroying the functional institutions in the country. His clueless and baseless policies have thrown the country's economy into abyss, subjecting millions of people to hunger and starvation. Even the Nigeria currency is now a laughing stock to the international community, and Buhari's foreign policies compared to that of an unborn child with no brain.

Meanwhile, Muhammadu Buhari, who should have been in jail by now for overthrowing a democratically elected government in 1983, is busy wasting taxpayers money, and few remaining resources of Nigeria in his desperation to jail Nnamdi Kanu and suppress the restoration of Biafra.
It is indisputable that Biafra restoration was made easy the very day Buhari foolishly ordered the arrest and incarceration of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and the killings of unarmed Biafra activists whose only crime is asking for their freedom.

Now the die is cast, and the Battle has kicked off. Who will smile last?  My Bible says that "one with God
is with majority," hence I have no doubt on the ability of God to deliver his people, the Biafrans from the shackles of the Nigeria state. According to history, the heart of Pharaoh, Napoleon, Idiamin and many others were strong in doing evil and suppressing the masses, but they were all subdued at the appointed time, when they least expected.

God makes use of the wicked to prove the just right. He uses the wicked to accomplish what seems to be impossibility. This is why He has given Nigeria Buhari, as a token for Biafra restoration, and the liberation of Biafrans.
