BIAFRA: NIGERIA IS A FAILED STATE; BIAFRA IS THE ONLY SOLUTION

BIAFRA: NIGERIA IS A FAILED STATE; BIAFRA IS THE ONLY SOLUTION

Nigeria existence since it's creation by the British colonial masters has failed to develop to true nationhood. It has metamorphosed to a sectional country where the northern region has continued to intimidate and subjugate other region's aspiration and development. This, was made possible through the unalloyed support of the British government who are doing everything possible to maintain their colony.

56 years down the lane, since the end of the  Civil War,  the country is still struggling to move ahead, with the same challenges and issues that led to the Civil War being repeated by the government of the day. The people of Biafra comprising the ancient people of Igala, Ibibio, Isoko, Igbos, Ijaw,  Ogoni and others   are still  treated as slaves and second class citizens in a supposed country they are part of. Ranging from denial of certain important political positions to exclusion from developmental projects, Fulani herdsmen ravaging communities and villages; destroying farm land, killing and raping the innocent of the land.

The administration of  President Muhammadu Buhari whose return to democracy in 2015 through a controversial election has brazenly exhibited hatred and exclusion of Biafrans. He has on many occasions ordered the security agents to clamp down on anyone or group who are speaking up against the tyrannical actions of his government. The “change" mantra of his party has turned to chains leaving the people to languish in agony and pains. The Nigerian Army, on many occasions shot scores of unarmed Biafran youths as reported by the Amnesty International for the world to see.

In the heat of these acts of intimidation, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), through her leader Nnamdi Kanu have been crying out to  the international community to support the independence of Biafra nation as enshrined in article 9 of the UN Charter of Indigenous People which gives the people right to seek freedom from any oppressive government. Biafrans hereby  call the attention of the world government to ask the Nigerian government to fix a date for referendum for Biafrans to peacefully exist as a sovereign nation.

Freedom for Biafra will bring an end to all these inhumane treatments meted on Biafrans by the Nigerian government. It will ensure Biafrans build a nation that will value the welfare of the people and build also civilized nation Africa will be proud of through it's human and natural resources.

#NO MORE ELECTIONS IN BIAFRA LAND UNTIL A DATE FOR REFERENDUM IS GIVEN.
