NIGERIA At 57: THE CONTINUOUS KILLING OF BIAFRANS

NIGERIA At 57: THE CONTINUOUS KILLING OF BIAFRANS

By Prince Ugo Chukwu Olisakwe
For Family Writers

I wish to categorically state that there is nothing to celebrate for this year's 57th  Nigerian independence. Today, Nigeria sinks as hardship, impunity, lawlessness, gruesome murder and human right abuses are not hidden. The peace and unity which every nation of the world enjoy have eluded Nigeria at the moment. The seed of discord sowed by the British has germinated such that if allowed to continue the generation unborn will harvest it in large quantity.

This is due to the fact that Nigeria which existed as a political experiment has never progressed right from the time immemorial. President Muhammad Buhari whom this year’s unfruitful independence was celebrated under his administration is a factor for lack of progress in the contraption called Nigeria. And if he is calculative enough, he will realize that since the unjust arrest and incarceration of the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi kanu and Nigerian government's unjust humiliation of unarmed Biafrans, things has not been well with Nigeria and her economy.

Muhammad Buhari who does not have a national blueprint or vision, is now wallowing from one spot to the other seeking for the solution to the problem of the expired country called Nigeria. The Indigenous People of Biafra want to let the whole world know  that the contraption called Nigeria which was built on fraud and falsehood has expired after 100 years of false union. For the Indigenous People of Biafra, there are no cogent verifiable and justifiable reasons for celebrating the 57th independent anniversary of this experiment called Nigeria. When we say "happy independence", what do we mean? The Indigenous People of Biafra find it necessary and most expedient to put down this piece of article with the above thought -provoking and somewhat rhetorical and unconventional questions which are intended to direct our minds away from the usual and obscure Nigeria in psyche to enable us properly appreciate the other side of the argument that at "57" Nigeria should not be celebrating but protesting on the streets over the situation Muhammad Buhari and his APC government have  put them into.

Nigerians should also be protesting for the 28 months of Muhammad Buhari's failure, killing, corruption and bloody in office. There is a common adage which says that a 'Fool at 40 is a fool forever' therefore if at 40 or more the contraption called Nigeria continues to  face economic challenges and recession, then she can be regarded as an irredeemable country. Nigeria as a political entity full of corruption and looting got her independence on first 1st October 1960 barely 57 years ago has nothing to show forth except corruption. And Biafrans are exempting themselves from this hell fire called Nigeria .The indigenous people of Biafra are no longer part of Nigeria and we are not a party to their 57th years of independent anniversary. The world should hear us now. What we are saying is let Muhammad Buhari release our Brethren, produce Nnamdi Kanu and allow us to go for peace to reign. The indigenous people of Biafra are no longer interested to be together with those who do not value human live and Human Rights.

Biafrans have nothing in common with them, our culture and way of living differs immensely from their own. They are born to kill and maim, they worship Muhammed while we worship Chukwu okike Abiama the Creator of our lives(christ) whom we are called by his name.  They have started killing us from time immemorial, and up till today our lives are still in danger and under threat especially since Muhammad Buhari assumed office as the president of Nigeria. It is unfair and fraudulent to compare this hell fire called Nigeria with our nation Biafra and other civilized countries like America, Germany, France and others. At almost the same time that Nigeria gained her corrupt independence from the United Kingdom on October 1st, 1960.

It is very shameful that at 57th Nigeria has prostrate, leading irredeemably towards the precipice, occasioned the well integrated forces of  corruption, bad governance, extra judicial killing, bloody, inhumane policies, lawlessness, abuse of law and human rights, poverty, decayed infrastructure and other myriads of problems besetting her. Still at 57, last week Nigeria army launched the operation python Dance In streets of Aba and house of Prince Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra and left hundreds of innocent people killed and injured uncountable but they still deny there malicious act on people of Biafra, At 57 the Nigeria police force, Nigeria Army and security operatives are still operating with the colonial policy mentality with its usual hallmark of extra judicial killings, rape ,extortion, illegal detention and other gross human rights abuses.

Life in Nigeria today is not worth just less than a coin, but short, hasty, brutish and unbearable. Nigeria today, is a preparation ground for what the religious people called " Hell Fire". Indeed who ever has survived in Nigeria will find hell fire a place of solace and comfort. Can any place be more hellish than the contraption called Nigeria? It is an indisputable fact. Who so ever that is in this hell called Nigeria has no reason to wish Nigeria well, talk more of a happy independent, rather I urge you to rise and fight and take what rightfully belong to you which is 'Biafra'. People of Agatu should put on mourning cloth likewise the Southern kaduna people to mourn Nigeria instead of celebrating her. In other words, Nigeria 57th independence anniversary which corruption and bloodshed is only her achievement is not worth celebrating and the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) is nowhere to be found since the Nigerian Army invaded his house in Isiama Afara-Ukwu, Ibeku in Umuahia, Abia state, Biafraland.
