BIAFRA: THE ONLY HOPE OF THE AFRICAN CONTINENT (PART 5)

BIAFRA: THE ONLY HOPE OF THE AFRICAN CONTINENT (PART 5)

THE EXCHANGE OF AFRICAN CULTURE FOR WESTERNISATION

Culture in a layman's understanding, simply means a way of life. It is arts, customs and habits which characterise a particular society or nation. Every community, society or nation has a peculiar culture with attached values to the lives and existence of such people. Americans for instance have their own uniqueness in culture just like the Europeans, Asians and of course Africans.

But it is realistically disturbing to note that the peculiarity of the African culture has been bastardized, helplessly and shamelessly relegating the black race to the background. The advent of westernisation which came into the African continent with colonialism, became the prelude to the abysmal collapse of the once treasured culture of Africa. This regrettably, made Africans subservient to the colonial overlords whose culture must be ridiculed, discountenanced and replaced with Western ways of life.

Superficially, it does appear to the tainted mind that such a devastating swap stands to benefit the indigenous people of Africa but the truth remains that such an exchange has brought into the continent, some measures of collateral damages than good. Many short-sighted and grossly misinformed individuals hide under this anomaly to yet promote and support the evil trend. This must not be allowed no matter the coloration. There exists numerous acts which the progenitors of the African continent shied away from because their culture naturally abhors such. But since the culture of Africa was surreptitiously swapped with that of the whites, many are presumably comfortable committing heinous crimes due to the absence of African natural/cultural measures to checkmate and bring to the bearest minimum, the various nefarious activities within the African society.

The ancestors according to traditionalists are said to be angry with the rate at which the African culture was being relegated and replaced with reckless abandon, with the slavish embrace of alien cultures which have immensely contributed to the retrogressive turn of events in virtually all ramifications within the continent.

The few who conscientiously practice the African culture are widely adjudged evil perpetrators that deserve banishment from their respective localities. This is premised on the belief that the younger generations were deceived to see such as institutionalised evil that must be jettisoned, not knowing that evil and culture are two parallel differences. Culture abhors all evils and inventors/peddlers/supporters of such in any given society.

The nation of Biafra which is irrefutably the hope and eyes of Africa, was seemingly subjugated and criminally expunged from the world map through orchestrated annihilation policies of the Nigerian government and it's allies over the years. After the horrendous genocidal onslaught  carried out against Biafrans between 1967 and 1970, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, emerged with the mandate of resolutely fighting for the freedom of Biafrans and Biafra, the only hope of the African continent.

All indigenous Africans, lovers of freedom globally, men/women of goodwill and conscience, must stand up to support the ongoing agitation as being courageously championed by the IPOB, for the unfettered restoration of the sovereign nation of Biafra which has been under the occupational government of contrapted Nigeria. This forced/false union of the Arewas, Oduduwas and Biafrans, has for many generations completely refused to work. Therefore, trying in this 21st century to maintain the status quo is absolutely an exercise in futility.
