It should be recalled that for quite a while now, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, has consistently and evidentially, accused the Nigerian media outlets, firmly controlled by Yoruba compromised, brown-envelop journalists, of completely eroding the very essence of the profession for mundane financial gains. There exists irrefutable facts of evolving events in the country which emanate from the media rooms of these jaundiced media outlets. Example of such events include the persistent killing of Biafrans by the Fulani killer herdsmen terrorists particularly, across Biafraland. It is totally absurd that information dissemination in Nigeria has become excessively commercialised rather than justifying the confidence of the audience through accurate reportage of events as they happen.
The Nigerian media houses have once again sacrificed ethical standards of professional journalism for their dastardly crave to maximize ungodly yearnings via the patronage of the despotic Nigerian government, with clear reference to their reportage of the outcome of the just concluded and largely successful General Strike/Sit-At-Home Action of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) which took place last Friday being the 14th of September, 2018. It was quite obvious to the global community that Biafrans throughout Biafraland massively observed the event to the letter. The South-East and South-South regions and parts of Middle Belt completely shut down business activities across board. Newspaper industries like the Vanguard, the Guardian and the Sun, reported accurately in the morning hours of that eventful day of Friday 14th September 2018, until a matching order was despicably given by the presidency that all these media outlets refrained from reporting the events as they unfolded but must paint gloomy pictures for the world to see that Biafrans blatantly refused compliance to the General Strike Action as ordered across Biafraland by the IPOB leadership.

However, a reliable Biafran Intelligence Officer working in the presidency, intimated to IPOB media teams that the Nigerian government dangled a bounty of one hundred million naira before the Nigerian Guild of Editors as gratifications amongst all the Nigerian media houses that participated in and twisted the Biafra General Strike Action. As at the time of filing in this report, negotiations between the office of Deacon Femi Adesina and Nigerian Guild of Editors, were yet ongoing at about 11:00pm same Friday 14th September 2018, to actualise the evil agenda. Therefore, let the reading/listening Nigeria audience totally discountenance the doctored reports by the aforementioned media houses which stated that in places like Enugu, Abakiliki, Umuahia, Calabar and Awka, there existed partial observance. This band of compromised media offices only floated falsehood to please their paymasters and deceive the gullible. The truth remains that all the cities/towns in Biafraland were completely shutdown to both human, animal and vehicular traffics with the exception of random movements of hilux vans carrying trigger-happy, murderous, Islamised Nigerian Army and Police Officers, who were looking for Biafrans to kill.

With this consistent bizarre manipulation of the intelligence of the Nigerians by the compromised media houses, it has become necessary for Nigerians to boycott all these junky media channels and make Biafra media outlets, their dependable sources of research and information due to their professionalism and ruggedness. The Nigerian media can easily be compromised and swayed into giving conflicting reports of a particular event just to service their frivolous gains at the expense of professional ethics. The media which used to be the watchdog of the society, has unfortunately and shamelessly too, become a priced commodity accessible to the frustrated/demented political hooligans in a fantastically corrupt Nigeria. This is a country where journalists write and practice according to financial inducements. It should be noted that the Nigerian media outlets pose serious threats to the well-being of Nigerians so long these excesses are allowed unchecked. This maladious enterprise must not be condoned.
