DANGER LOOMS IN NIGERIA FOLLOWING THE ILLEGAL PROSCRIPTION OF SHIA ISLAMIC SECT BY A COMPROMISED JUDICIARY
The illegal proscription by the Nigerian government of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (MNI), otherwise known as Shi'ites is most callous and irrational. This Islamic group has remained peaceful until a wave of genocidal violence was visited upon them in 2015 by the Nigerian armed forces, claiming thousand lives of their members, with their leader, Sheik Ibrahim El-ZakZaky, his wife amongst others, illegally detained contrary to court order authorising their release. Nigeria government's action embedded in the recent proscription of the Islamic sect with a tag of a terrorist group, is not only an affront to civility but a blatant violation of both freedom of worship, expression and association under the despotic democratic rule of a Sunni Muslim fundamentalist, Muhammadu Buhari and his Fulani infested atrocious government. The regime could easily proscribe a harmless but oppressed group just like it did to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for peacefully demanding for their freedom while Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) the umbrella body of Fulani killer herdsmen (terrorists), are brazenly being aided, protected, pampered and accorded all sorts of immunity.
Recall that on the 20th of September 2017, Justice Kafarati of Abuja Federal High Court, through the back door, granted the same Buhari government, an exparte order to proscribe the most peaceful and civilized freedom fighting indigenous group in the world, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This movement was also tagged a terrorist group by the Fulani administered Islamic government of Nigeria. This came on the heels of a very gruesome genocidal military expedition code-named "Operation Python Dance II" which was launched in the family compound of the IPOB leader at Afara-Ukwu-Ibeku community, Umuahia in Abia State, Biafraland. This military invasion brought the death of over twenty eight young Biafrans including a security dog, with properties worth fortunes wantonly destroyed. The parents of the IPOB leader, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Eze Israel Okwu Kanu/wife including Mazi Nnamdi Kanu himself, escaped being killed only by divine intervention. They amongst other relatives of theirs have remained traumatized and displaced till date.
And to worsen the whole situation, the Nigerian government that is bent on proscribing and criminalising innocent unarmed groups, is shamelessly giving sponsorship and protection to Miyetti Allah bandits, Boko Haram insurgents and the world's fourth most deadly terrorist organization known as Fulani killer herdsmen. This is the worst ironical experience ever to be known in human history. It is only in a British contrapted cum fulanised entity like Nigeria that peaceful protesters are regarded as threats to national security while Islamic genocidists are not just regarded as saints but are officially aided, protected and treasured.
Taking a critical look at the prevailing situation and the roles being played by a supposed professional and unbiased judiciary, it simply butresses more clearly, that the country has irredeemably dug itself into a hellish danger. The judicial system in Nigeria like what obtains elsewhere, ought to be uncompromisingly, serving the interest of the downtrodden. But unfortunately, in this part of the world lies gross miscarriage of the rule of law and humanitarian right. The Nigerian judiciary has callously mortgaged it's integrity and ethical standards for subservience and mundane interests. The judicial officers have become agents of oppression, injustice and death. The masses are being left at the mercy of self-serving political merchants, despots and Islamic fundamentalist killers. Trying so hard to silent opposition voices or aggrieved groups in the mold of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Shiite Muslims or any other, can only toughen their resolve and fast tracking the doomsday. It should be stated unambiguously here though, that the reign of tyranny and immunity can no longer be condoned by the oppressed, who are getting increasingly enlightened, agitated, determined and entrapped in a shitholic enclave like Nigeria. Definitely, they most assuredly, must regain their God given freedom. It is just a matter of time which can never be traded.
