IPOB OBIO/AKPOR AREA 2 EXCO IN A CRUCIAL MEETING WITH SELECT PRINCIPAL OFFICERS WITHIN IT'S JURISDICTION

Principal officers restricted to only unit and zonal coordinators under the jurisdiction of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Obio/Akpor Area 2, Igweocha Province of Biafraland, had a very crucial meeting last Sunday 21st July 2019. The meeting which commenced at 3:17pm with an opening prayer led by Mazi Uche Okere, had almost all the concerned in attendance. It was principally convened to evaluate progress so far recorded while also re-strategising for the tasks ahead. Exhortation was given by Pastor Chima Obi. He cautioned against insubordination, murmuring, indolence and faithlessness, enjoining all to maintain undivided followership and hold onto the grace of the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. He stressed the need for the officers to tenaciously firm up with the principles of IPOB in realising the freedom of our people.

Biafra first son (Anambra) represented by Mazi Chinedu Nwafor and Mazi Njoku Ikechukwu Chukwunonyerem, the Area 2 Elders Council Chairman, who represented Igweocha, the host state, in keeping with Biafra ancestral tradition of unity and oneness, further prayed for God's blessing and guidance.

The Obio/Akpor Area 2 Coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor heartily welcomed the participants and encouraged all never to relent in the struggle. He maintained that there exists no short cut to realizing speedy restoration of Biafra sovereignty other than judiciously carrying out assigned responsibilities and according to established norm. Following this was encouraging discussions aimed at shoring up financial fortunes of the Area for targeted projects.

Mazi Prince Chukwunonso on behalf of Area 2 Media, gave elaborate updates on the developments so far. All unit and zonal coordinators were encouraged to have their media teams established where none existed and pleaded that their personnel get duly incorporated into the Area 2 mainstream media, thus helping to disseminate our own information via all relevant social media platforms as provided. He equally informed them of planned Rivers East Senatorial Meeting involving all media personnel within the jurisdiction in the nearest future. The need to completely carry this message home was adequately emphasized.

The Obio/Akpor Area 2 Welfare Chairman, Mazi Edemajaro Oghenekaro reminded the house of the priceless sacrifices that are being made by IPOB family members even   with their lives. He informed the participants of plans being made to streamline departmental data in the state as required for effective outreach.

The women leaders were encouraged to really sit up to their responsibilities in their respective zones and units. They were enjoined to unreservedly employ modalities that will help advance the cause of the Biafra restoration struggle through evangelism especially amongst the women folk.

Mazi Njoku Ikechukwu Chukwunonyerem, the Area 2 Elders Council Chairman, passionately pleaded with the coordinators  to forward to his office, the call contacts of all their elder members. This is to facilitate widespread contacts with the concerned, preparatory to their scheduled general meeting at both State and Area levels.

Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor, the Obio/Akpor Area 2 Coordinator said the closing prayer and the meeting adjourned at 6:38pm.
