SURVIVAL AT THE MERCY OF INSTITUTIONALIZED SCOURGE OF TYRANNY AND TERROR

SURVIVAL AT THE MERCY OF INSTITUTIONALIZED SCOURGE OF TYRANNY AND TERROR

Celebration of political success and power remains one beautiful feeling/aura  that should be an associated ingredient with positive leadership in any sane and civilized society. The world over, leadership comes with holistic responsibility of nationhood, tenaciously upholding humanitarian laws, defense and protection of the oppressed. Instances abound with the glaring defense mechanisms of civil rights and laws that are prevalent in the Western World, the positions and powers that be, nonetheless.

Humanity must all take responsibility for the various decisions that are taken in relation to the uncheckmated growth of leadership terror and political tyranny being blatantly and variously unleashed on the citizens. The display of terror cuts across virtually every institution of the country called Nigeria. This maladious enterprise is institutionalized in the Educational, Health, Social, Economic, Political Sectors down to the Security Agencies. The weight of official terrorism and subjugative indices are so conspicuously engraved and deeply rooted that they become treasured and irresistible norms acceptable to the populace.

Words alone cannot suffice expressing the feeling of disdain which has seemingly broken the serenity and sanctity of living in Nigeria. This is a country where oppression, tyranny, injustice, enslavement, penury and acts of terror are even officially driven through the unquestionable instrumentality of security agencies. Police protection has shamelessly become the exclusive reserve of only the affluent political holders and associates while the army totally plays the role of the oppressive arm of terror against the rest.

Living in Nigeria is indeed miraculous. Only a handful of human rights activists sometimes courageously speak up against the wave of human rights abuses brought upon the people. The political tyrants cum demigods are being recklessly worshipped by their bootlickers to garner some forms of monetary gains. The laws and rules of engagement are being brazenly unleashed against the downtrodden just for the protection of the rich through economic and political treachery.

Recently, the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), raised an alarm against terror-related activities that are being imposed on the members by the politicians and the ruling cabals. One would have imagined that an outstanding legal body like the NBA is untouchable in this scourge of tyranny and oppression. This is quite shamefully demeaning. Yet, it must be clearly stated that at the altar of nepotism, the weapon of integrity is  flawed. Battles cannot and will never be won in such an atmosphere. High profile cases demanding justice and prompt dispensation with particular reference to the IPOB, SHI'ITE ISLAMIC SECT and GANDUJE MONEY LAUNDERING PROBE, etcetera, have disappointedly, experienced grave miscarriage of justice by the Judges  assigned to them. The presidency and the political merchants/cabals have also equally hijacked the executive arm of government, thereby making the citizens live at the mercy of acrimony, penury, misery and death.

Justice broken down and has no place in Nigeria. It's sanctuary completely burnt to shreds. What is redeemable in Nigeria? Absolutely nothing! The only hope left for the people is the eventual dawn of FREEDOM, gratified via ultimate sacrifices for justice and progressive peace as being courageously championed by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally  through the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. There is absolutely no restoration for an expired product which Nigeria totally represents.

Our eyes must remain focused on nothing else other than FREEDOM!
