Obigbo Massacre: Wike Deliberately Partnered With The Fulanis For Igbo Ethnic Cleansing

Obigbo Massacre: Wike Deliberately Partnered With The Fulanis For Igbo Ethnic Cleansing

The ongoing massacre of the residents of Obigbo in Igweocha (Port Hcourt) as ordered by Governor Nyesom Wike, is clearly a crime against humanity.

For Fulanis to easily come into our land in connivance with some treacherous elements represented by the Rivers State Governor to unleash terror on our people cannot be condoned. Something definitive needs be done or we all gradually get wiped out in this orchestrated misery. It is so shamefully disappointing to note that there still remains some elders in Igboland that are yet keeping silent while this Obigbo genocide continue unabated. Nemesis will certainly catch up with them someday.

It must first be understand however, that this genocide did not start as a result of the actions of those they called hoodlums that allegedly burnt down police stations and killed some security officers at Obigbo. Rivers State is not the only place police stations were attacked by some unknown gunmen who were simply showing their displeasures with the way the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), have been manhandling and killing innocent citizens, with the government brazenly keeping silence. Wike's order was not because the youths of Obigbo joined the nationwide #EndSARS protest, neither was it in anyway connected to the utterances of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu like some paid and confused e-rats went about ranting over the interne. Things are entirely different here.

Exactly by 5:00am of 23rd October 2020, a tweet was captured from the twitter account of one #Shafiu Salis(@S_Salees), stating that the people of Obigbo were infidels and they (Fulanis) would stop at nothing until Obigbo inhabitants were completely wiped out. Little did we know that this bold utterance was because they had already compromised governor Wike whom we have loved and defended as our own brother.

Following this tweet of 23rd October 2020 therefore, Wike in his statements, arrogantly proscribed the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on the 26th and signed the proscription documents on the 27th of same October, 2020.

Yet none clearly understood that it was a way to get to the Igbos according the Fulani directives, until governor Nyesom Wike ushered in their soldiers and locked the people indoors with an indefinite 24 hours curfew declaration, thereby giving the people no opening for survival exit. The Nigerian soldiers were moving house to house, arresting and instantly executing everyone they could find down the streets.

This whole thing boils down to an agreement Wike reached with the Fulanis. The deceptiveness of Wike coming out on television to say that he is only against Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB and not the Igbos, is sincerely very despicable. He has all this while, been saying that all the people of Obigbo were being locked down and getting them gruesomely murdered in their houses by the Nigerian soldiers.

Are all residents of Obigbo, members of IPOB? Do all of them believe the views of Nnamdi Kanu? These are very important questions that not only prove Wike to be deceptively lying, but also go a long way to tell every Igboman (rich or poor) that this whole thing is not just about Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB or Obigbo.

It is a continuation of the ethnic cleansing project by the Fulani oligarchy. Obigbo is just a starting point because of their resilience. If nothing is done now, then we should all be readily prepared because it might turn out to be anybody's own town tomorrow.

The land of Obigbo is being soaked with the blood of her people.
