Barely 4 days Fulani herdsmen attack Afam Uku, Afam Nta and Egberu communities in Obigbo L.G.A of Igwuocha(Rivers State) and kill two farmers; a group of Fulani herdsmen, with the aid of men in Nigerian military uniform, have storm the communities.

The herdsmen arrive in the communities around 12am while others arrive in the early hours of today being the 22nd day of May 2017. The Fulani herdsmen infiltrate the towns with the help of armed men in Military uniform who is said to be Nigerian Soldiers who served as a backup and escort to the wild, desperate and dangerous looking herdsmen who came in with some unidentified luggage which is suspected by the inhabitants of the communities, to contain weapons.

Speaking with the police men in the thereby towns; they said some of the herdsmen told them they came to search for their missing cows which got lost in the villages where the incident took place few days ago.

Recall- After the attack carried out by the herdsmen in the communities few days ago where they killed two inhabitants of  the communities; the youths in the town attack and chase them(with their cows and belongings) out of the communities.

According to a close source; the herdsmen came back in groups, to the villages to retaliate over two of their killed cows during the last incident and to carry out more attack.

At the time of filing this report; some inhabitants have vacate the area and there's heavy tension in the communities as the herdsmen have infiltrate every nooks and crannies in the communities.
