AGAIN: FULANI HERDSMEN ATTACK FARMERS AT NSUKKA, ENUGU BIAFRA LAND

AGAIN: FULANI HERDSMEN ATTACK FARMERS AT NSUKKA, ENUGU BIAFRA LAND

By Egwuatu Chukz.
For Family Writers Press.

On the 28th of September 2017, at exactly 11am, another young Biafran man was butchered  by the murderous Hausa Fulani herdsmen in Agu Udene Ukpa , Opi, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State Biafra land.

According to the information gathered by the Family Writers Press correspondent, the Fulani herdsmen trooped in with their cattle into the farm land of Mr Chigozie Agbegwu and destroyed all his crops. When the farmer got to his farm, met the Fulani herdsmen and tried to chase them out of his farm land, the  herdsmen  confronted him and asked  why he was trying to kill their cows?

As the herdsmen confronted and intimidated this young man, one of them brought out his sword and stabbed the farmer on his stomach. He was soaked in blood  and  helpless.

Interview  conducted among the farmers in the area, revealed that most of the farmers were angered and annoyed over the activities of the deadly Hausa Fulani herdsmen in their community. The deadly attacks have   increased  especially  in Nsukka area and the most annoying scenario  is  that, the herdsmen are backed by the Nigerian Police. For instance, there has never been a time the Nigerian Police  made any arrest  or intervened since the herdsmen unleashed mayhem on the farmers.

Finally, the farmers pleaded with the Family Writers Press correspondent to kindly let the world know how the Fulani herdsmen destroy their crops and butcher them as well. They pledged their unflinching support for  Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to restore Biafra as an Independent Nation. According to them, the emergence of Biafra will put an end to all the destruction of farmland and attacks on the farmers by the Fulani herdsmen.
