President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Abuja, the Nigerian capital, early this morning after the 25th African Union Summit in Pretoria, South Africa.
He was received on arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and several other top government functionaries.
The Nigerian leader departed Abuja for the summit on Sunday morning and was one of the star performers at the event, during which he chaired a meeting of the AU Peace and Security Council.
Apart from being hosted to a dinner by South African President Jacob Zuma, Buhari held bilateral talks with other African leaders on the sidelines of the summit to consolidate his ongoing drive to secure Nigeria and neighbouring countries from Boko Haram.
