IPOB DOS: The Authentic Face Of Biafra To The Watching World

IPOB DOS: The Authentic Face Of Biafra To The Watching World

The Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra (DOS) remains one of the most strategic innovations introduced by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in his visionary leadership. He understood from the very beginning that no genuine liberation movement could thrive on the charisma of an individual alone. For Biafra to be taken seriously as a nation-in-waiting, it needed an institutional face; a structure through which the world could relate, engage, and recognize the seriousness of her people’s aspiration. That institutional face is the DOS.

The DOS is not a random committee but a carefully constituted body made up of hardcore IPOB members from different continents of the world. These are men and women proven in their loyalty, sacrifice, and discipline, chosen to reflect the global reach of IPOB and to anchor its affairs beyond one man’s physical presence. By bringing together this cross-continental body, Nnamdi Kanu insulated the movement from the vulnerabilities of targeting individuals. Even in his absence, the cause of Biafra stands firm, unshaken.

The importance of the DOS cannot be overstated. In the international community, governments and institutions prefer to deal with structured bodies rather than individuals. Nations relate with institutions, not personalities. Nnamdi Kanu knew this, and that is why he established the DOS, so that IPOB would always present itself to the world as a credible, organized, and institutional movement. The DOS speaks for Biafra, organizes for Biafra, and coordinates the global family of IPOB with the precision of an emerging nation.

This strength of structure is exactly why Biafra’s enemies tremble at the mention of the DOS. It denies them the hope that by arresting or silencing one man, the dream of Biafra would collapse. The DOS ensures continuity, resilience, and unity of direction. It is the nightmare of those who thought the Biafran struggle could be decapitated by targeting its leader. Instead, the DOS has become the fortress from which IPOB continues to advance its agenda unbroken.

For Nnamdi Kanu himself, the DOS remains his most powerful assurance. It is the institutional voice that presses forward his quest for justice, not only for his unlawful detention but also for the Biafran people’s right to self-determination. In the DOS lies the surest path to the justice Kanu seeks — because it is through this body that the world is engaged, that the message is amplified, and that the Biafran struggle maintains its focus as a collective mission, not a personal ambition.

Indeed, the DOS is the authentic face of Biafra before the watching world. It is the embodiment of structure, discipline, and continuity. It is the legacy of foresight that Nnamdi Kanu gave to IPOB, and the weapon that will eventually secure justice and freedom for Biafra.

IPOB Condemns Latest Assault On Female Corp Member In Anambra, Accuses Gov. Soludo Of Perpetuating Insecurity In South-East

IPOB Condemns Latest Assault On Female Corp Member In Anambra, Accuses Gov. Soludo Of Perpetuating Insecurity In South-East

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) movement has condemned the recent assault of a female corp member, Miss Jennifer Elohor by operatives of the state-owned vigilante codenamed Agunechemba security outfit in Oba, Anambra State describing it as inhumane and dehumanising.

This was made known in a press statement issued by the press secretary of the IPOB Directorate Of States, Mazi Okadigbo Chinwendum.  The statement not only condemned the egregious act but also went on to accuse the Soludo's government of importing hardened criminals from the South-South region and recruiting them into the Agunechemba militia

According to the statement, these imported renegades are mostly responsible for the illegal and extrajudicial activities of the Agunechemba operatives against citizens and residents of Anambra State.

Recall that on 23rd July 2025, eight Agunechemba operatives stormed a residential apartment in Oba, Anambra State with the excuse of apprehending internet fraudsters, in the process they violently attacked, Miss Jennifer, a corp member, stripping her naked and brutalizing her live on camera.

The Anambra State government announced they had dismissed the operatives involved and handed them over to the police for prosecution.

However, the IPOB statement decried the assault, revealing there are multiple cases of same or worse degree of carnage perpetrated by operatives of these state-owned vigilante groups but goes unreported.

The statement reads, "The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) condemn without equivocation, the continued dehumanising activities of governor Chukwuma Soludo's imported criminals from the riverine areas of Nigeria into Anambra state in Biafraland. One of such activities was the shame exhibited on the 23rd of July 2025, where a woman a female Corp member was deliberately and actively stripped naked by men who, like their employers, have no single respect for womanhood.

One very perplexing thing but not entirely surprising to us is the continued hatred of Igbo politicians for their people, Chukwuma Soludo since coming to power as governor in Anambra state has sacrificed the lives and wellbeing of hundreds of our innocent youths at the hands of these animals who operate without any proper oversight but with complete impunity and  utter disregard for human rights and the due process of the rule of law.

"We have records of the terrible activities of rape, extortions, kidnappings, and murder by these criminals called Udo Ga Achi and Ndi Aka Odo brought into Anambra by governor Chukwuma Soludo."

"A governor who claims that he is  educated sets up a militia and equip them with pounding pestles to interrogate, torture, and deliberately turn the vibrant youth of his states into cripples."

IPOB also accused the governor of having secret detention facilities where citizens mostly youths are subjugated and incarcerated for no crime or their diverse political backgrounds, likening the activities of the Agunechemba operatives to the notorious, banned Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), thus vowing to no longer tolerate the gross violations of human rights and dignity of Anambra State citizens by ill-trained state security operatives in the South-East.

"It will interest Biafrans and the world to know that over ninety five percent of the victims of soludo's militias are innocent of the crimes they are accused of. These victims are rather innocent Igbo youths, perceived rivals, and political opponents, and perceived enemies of governor soludo and his cronies.

"There are records of many innocent victims locked up in different secret detention centres across Anambra state. These youths and perceived political opponents are subjected to all manner of  ill-treatment, rape, acts of torture, acts of cruelty, inhuman and degrading treatment, unlawful incarceration and forced disappearances without a trace."

"Gov. Chukwuma Soludo's militias brings fresh memories of what our people suffered in the hand of the Nigerian SARS whose modus operandi was the same as being applied by governor Soludo's Udo Ga Achi and Ndi Aka Odo."

"Men like Chukwuma Soludo, Hope Uzodinma and their likes who are being propelled by empty and selfish ambition are the ones sponsoring and perpetuating insecurity in Ala-Igbo."

"Just in four years Chukwuma Soludo has murdered our vibrant youths in their hundreds, through his AVG, Udo Ga Achi, and Agunechemba. He turned many into cripples through Ndi Aka Odo, turned many more into orphans, others he made childless, widows and widowers. Soludo must be stopped or Ọmanbala will be turned into a river of blood."

"Had they killed the young NYSC Corp member, they will dump her violated body by the road side as they have done to so many of their other victims after kidnapping and extorting them of their hard earned money and resources, and then turn around to point their cursed fingers at the  IPOB/ESN."

"Thus, The DOS wishes to inform Governor soludo and other politicians in Ala-Igbo with similar acts and intentions that we will no longer sit with our arms folded and watch them dehumanise, traumatise, torture, rape,  assault, forcefully disappear and extrajudicially murder innocent unarmed Biafran youths in their own land. This madness MUST STOP, or they should be ready to contend the owners of the land," the statement announced.

SBM Intelligence, Reuters And Nuhu Ribadu’s Hatchet Job Against IPOB: A Failed Propaganda War

SBM Intelligence, Reuters And Nuhu Ribadu’s Hatchet Job Against IPOB: A Failed Propaganda War

IPOB PRESS STATEMENT

DATE 26th MAY 2025

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the supreme leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu categorically and unequivocally condemns in the strongest terms possible the latest hatchet job disguised as a “report” released by a faceless, compromised, and government-sponsored propaganda arm called SBM Intelligence, and amplified by the neo-colonial media outfit, Reuters, all under the shameful direction of Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.

This laughable fabrication alleges that IPOB’s Sit-at-Home actions resulted in 776 deaths and trillions in economic losses. This is not just a lie—it is a desperate concoction by a drowning regime grasping at straws. SBM Intelligence is neither credible nor neutral; it is a mercenary outfit created to launder the image of failed regimes and discredit voices demanding justice and self-determination. Their so-called reports are fit only for the trash can of history, not the pages of reputable journalism.

We challenge SBM Intelligence, Reuters, and Nuhu Ribadu: if you possess an ounce of evidence linking IPOB to these baseless allegations, take it to court. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is in detention and ready to confront these lies with unassailable truth. Instead of sponsoring international smear campaigns, why not test your fantasy before a judge?

Let it be known and recorded that IPOB officially canceled Monday Sit-at-Home in 2021, and our leader publicly disowned any individual or group enforcing such orders. Therefore, any attack attributed to a “Sit-at-Home” cannot be logically or factually linked to IPOB. This makes the SBM/Reuters report not only false but criminally deceptive.

The timing of this publication is no coincidence. As 30th May Biafra Heroes Day approaches—a sacred day for Biafrans to honour our martyrs—this corrupt regime, through its rented outlets, seeks to deflect attention from its failures and sabotage our remembrance. This is the same Nigeria that could not stop genocidal attacks from Taraba to Zamfara but is fixated on demonizing IPOB, a peaceful movement seeking justice and freedom.

We are not ignorant of history. When Biafra stood alone against the might of the global powers—Communist East, Capitalist West, and Islamic Jihadists from Egypt and across the Arab world—we survived because our cause is righteous and ordained by God. This propaganda blitz is but a whimper compared to the bombs of the 1967–70 genocide. It shall fail too.

Let Reuters know that by allowing itself to be used by Nuhu Ribadu and his gang of discredited Abuja plotters, it has traded its journalistic integrity for blood money. Let SBM Intelligence know they will forever remain irrelevant outside the corridors of Nigerian state-sponsored deceit. Let the Nigerian government know this: No amount of lies, no amount of sponsored reports, no amount of colonial echo chambers will stop the march of Biafra.

On 30th May, the world will see a region stand still in honour of our fallen heroes. We are undeterred, unshaken, and unstoppable. Our allegiance is to the truth, and the truth is that Biafra must come.

Deflating The Lies, Misinformation Of David Hundeyin At 'African Stream'

Deflating The Lies, Misinformation Of David Hundeyin At 'African Stream'

It is a common tactic for beneficiaries of corrupt systems to fiercely defend its flawed constructs. Mr. David Hundeyin, has again commenced his sly but subtly antics to twist narratives. This time he has extended his misinformation gimmicks and may have deceptively convinced some Pan-Africanist online media outlets like the  "African Stream" to spread and purvey these false narratives and propaganda.

Thus, it is critical to correct the false impressions being spread by Mr. Hundeyin or even the African Stream about the Biafra quest for self-determination, the IPOB movement and its leader spearheading it and their motives.

First, Biafra does not represent a Zionist ideology. It was an ideology borne out of necessity for survival following acts of ethnically inspired mass extermination. Suffice to say, that over 75% of Biafrans, and more extensively the entire Southern Nigeria are Christians, forming the majority of the population.

The Biafran ideology is not a recent phenomenon. Biafra existed for nearly three years (1967-70), before it was brutally starved into submission by the Nigerian federal government in early 1970.  And, it is on historical record that many nations including the United Kingdom, Israel, USSR, USA, some Sahel and Arab countries etc had in one way or another, overt or covert, participated in the political and interests-based conspiracy against Biafra. So, there was no religious motive behind the Biafra ideology from its rootstock, just survival and the collective of a deserted and abandoned people to thrive.

Sadly, the question which the "African Stream" and their source, Mr. Hundeyin, failed or refused to address in the view of the global African audience was what sparked the Biafran quest for independence in the first instance or what spurred it roughly 50 years later, instead they choose to deceptively write off as "Zionist agenda" as it is more convenient to do and also to hinder people especially people of the global South to take historical lessons or research on what prompted the Nigeria-Biafra debacle which has endured till date.

That detailed answer which they, consciously have failed to provide is what we shall painstakingly do in this piece.

Now, Biafra’s pursuit for freedom and sovereignty from British-amalgamated Nigeria, emerged as the Nigeria state from inception in 1914 to post-independence thrived on the subjugation, marginalization, and exploitation of the people of the Eastern region which would later became Biafra, the height of it was the massacre, pogroms of 1966 which led to the inevitable declaration of Biafra, a year later after talks and diplomatic efforts salvage the situation failed.

The unlawful, vindictive massacre of innocent citizens from the East across the north and western region of Nigeria, the extrajudicial execution of their citizens who served diligently in the Nigerian army anchored on the fabricated narrative surrounding the first coup on January 1966 as an ethnically motivated coup, were all catalysts which led to the secession of the Republic of Biafra.

Suffice to say, that the anniversary to honor the birth of Biafra happens to be in this month of May, on the 30th which was the actual date when the former military governor of the eastern region, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu declared independence after receiving unanimous mandate from the Eastern consultative assembly which hosted all the ethnic groups of the eastern region on 27th May 1967.

That declaration would later lead to what became the Biafra genocide, as the Nigeria government alongside its allies were not far behind the Biafrans, whom were in the most unmistakable terms, forced to leave in the first place.

Thus, the Biafra Heroes day, is vital day designated to reflect on those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom—those who were killed, butchered, and starved into submission.

Now, to contemporary times. The resurgence of the quest for Biafra self-determination and advent of pro-independence movement, like the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), all boiled down to the historical injustices of how the Biafrans were treated, the promises of acceptance upon surrender which were never kept and the marginalization which followed for decades. That gave birth to the recent agitation for Biafra as quite rightly noted by Mr. Hundeyin.

Secondly, Mr. Hundeyin acknowledged that there has been religious motivated violence against communities in the north and middlebelt, but he failed to reveal those behind this religious violence. He also failed to say that the Fulani herdsmen and other terrorist groups such as the Boko Haram has the backings from the Nigerian security and political apparatus itself, evidence of these are bound. There are ex-military, senior staffs, servicemen coming forward to give account of collusion and deep polarization of Nigeria security architecture.

Thankfully, the security challenges posed by either ethnic or Islamic extremists or even both, is not a problem confined to Nigeria alone. It is a regional broader security challenges across the West African region particularly in the Sahel region, and the Sahelians especially the indigenous peoples in the AES are in a better position to corroborate or even independently tell the global African audience if there is an ethnic jihad interchangeably masqueraded as a religious one against indigenous populations across west Africa.

Thirdly, the political ideology for Biafra under the IPOB movement is a peaceful one and has stayed so since inception, notwithstanding heavy extrajudicial crackdowns by the Nigerian state, acknowledged even by the most biased and prejudicial human rights institutions such as Amnesty International.

The IPOB leader was arrested in 2015 for professing his rights to political self-determination and asking for a UN supervised referendum, he was detained for 2 years and granted bail, until he was designated for assassination by the Nigerian military, a plot which failed but over 28 innocent civilians were killed, luckily for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, he escaped into exile.

However, four years later the Nigerian government broke all known local and international laws to not only kidnap him, but to extraordinarily rendition to Nigeria from Kenya. An act that has attracted so much local and international condemnation. Mr. David Hundeyin won’t speak about that because it won’t favoure his lies.

Nnamdi Kanu has been on trial and on many occasions either his release or his innocence has been ordered by the Nigerian judiciary itself, but the federal government has proven adamant to these rulings by competent courts and continue to incarcerate him.

Mr Hundeyin failed to acknowledge these but instead choose to blindside the African audience with an insidiously clipped off an audio broadcast of the IPOB leader, made specifically to the Nigerian youths whom were being hunted and killed by their own police and military during the EndSARS protests, something relative to the Arab spring or even the most recent #RejectFinancialBill mass protests in Kenya.

The intervention of global bodies or influential nations in times of crisis especially on humanitarian grounds maybe a downside but in some cases are necessary. If not, Mr. Hundeyin would not have participated in the research team which its findings allegedly led to the designation of Nigeria "as a country of particular concern" by the United States during president Trump first administration, a clause that only be invoked when there is an evident sign of religious repression. And, as all may recall were promising results though they were short-lived.

Nevertheless, while the outspoken or lobby activities of Mr Michael Rubin and his AEI institute are acceptable and applaudable especially on humanitarian grounds about the vices being faced by Christians in Nigeria either in the north, south or middlebelt, there is no political connection or corroboration of his stance about Biafra self-determination with the IPOB movement, let alone connecting him and Mr. Simon Ekpa whom has been certified of being a Nigerian state sponsored agent provocateur sent to bring chaos and poison the genuine quest for Biafra self-determination, to IPOB.  And as per the laws of Finland, he Simon Ekpa is being prosecuted for his crimes against the people of Eastern Nigeria.

Make no mistakes, Mr. Simon Ekpa is no lieutenant of the IPOB leader, as Mr. Hundeyin claimed. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu though a revolutionary, is no violent criminal who have ordered or condoned any attack on innocent civilians. If not, he would have been convicted over his 10 years of legal tussle in the Nigerian judiciary facing of the federal government on alleged charges of treason and terrorism.

Mr. Hundeyin and the African/global audience who may have listened to his story and poised to believe it, should be advised that the resources in Nigeria, which Mr. Hundeyin dearly emphasizes upon, is in no other exploitative hands other than the United States and its allies consisting of the collective West. The resources of Nigeria which is the commonwealth of the people has never been used in favour of its rightful owners and that is particularly the Nigerian population squeaks in abject poverty and penury.

And, that is also what the quest for Biafra self-determination is determined to change: A sovereignty to guarantee that the resources and potentials, human and mineral, within its soil and borders will be used for the socioeconomic advancements and development of its people.

How Biafra or her people wishes to utilize these resources or who they conduct business with it, be it from the East, West, North or South is strictly her business as long as her national interests are not jeopardized, and extensively as long as her eternal commitments to true Pan-Africanisn, which has been demonstrated beyond doubts, are not compromised.

Amnesty International Turns A Global Hypocrite, Fueling Nigerian State Propaganda

Amnesty International Turns A Global Hypocrite, Fueling Nigerian State Propaganda

At last, Amnesty International have join the que, exposing their real and ugly essence; a biased, unprincipled organization masquerading as a human rights watchdog.

In their recent statement dated May 9, 2025, Amnesty rushed to condemn the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN) over the tragic incident that occurred along the Okigwe-Owerri road in Imo State. With no investigation, no verified facts, no credible reports, Amnesty immediately echoed the Nigeria government’s narrative, shamelessly accusing IPOB/ESN of the crime. This is not human rights advocacy. This is reckless propaganda and it is dangerous.

Amnesty International claims to defend the rule of law and due process, yet it finds no contradiction in issuing a global statement that brands a group guilty of mass murder before any investigation has begun. What evidence did Amnesty rely on? None presented. What source confirmed the attackers’ identity? None disclosed. Just the lazy, worn-out phrase: “allegedly carried out by IPOB/ESN." If IPOB is always the go-to suspect, why bother with investigations at all? Why pretend to care about justice when your mind is already made up?

If international law requires prompt and impartial investigations, why then did Amnesty violate that same principle with its biased declaration?

Amnesty have maintained a disturbing silence on the daily atrocities visited upon the people of Southeast Nigeria by the Nigerian military. From aerial bombardments in Orlu and Ebonyi to house-to-house raids in Owerri, from mass arrests of innocent youths to enforced disappearances.

Amnesty’s lips are sealed. When hundreds of IPOB members are jailed without trial for merely flying a flag or attending a rally, Amnesty issues weak, buried reports with no urgency. This is a baffling pattern that has continued until now that Amnesty is truly out with their true intent —  conveniently blaming IPOB, writing thunderous press releases, and amplifing Nigeria government propaganda to the world. This double standard is not just shameful, it is wicked. It emboldens a murderous regime and dehumanizes an entire population.

Let us ask the hard question Amnesty refuses to ask: Who benefits from this violence? IPOB has publicly renounced criminal violence. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the illegally detained IPOB leader has repeatedly called for peaceful resistance and a referendum. Yet, any act of mayhem in the Southeast is swiftly blamed on IPOB/ESN no matter the circumstances.

There are rising allegations of false-flag operations  attacks orchestrated by Nigerian security agents and their sponsored militias to justify crackdowns on Biafra. Why is Amnesty not investigating this? Why does Amnesty ignore eyewitness reports that contradict government claims? Why does every bomb dropped by the Nigerian military come with Amnesty’s silence, but every false allegation against IPOB gets a headline?

Let the world not be deceived. The campaign of terror in Nigeria is not being waged by IPOB, it is rather being waged against the movement. It is a campaign of silence, detention, torture, humiliation, and extermination. IPOB has been the scapegoat, the Southeast is the slaughterhouse, the Nigeria government is the butcher, and Amnesty International is the silent partner in crime.

If Amnesty still have a shred of credibility, they must publicly retract their hasty and baseless accusation. They must open a truly independent international investigation into the Okigwe-Owerri incident  and into the systematic military atrocities in the Southeast. Amnesty must apologize to the victims they have ignored and to the people they have helped demonize.

Until then, Amnesty International should stop pretending to be neutral. They should admit what they have become — a selective voice, bought by convenience, and blind to truth. The blood of innocent Biafrans cries not just against the Nigeria state  but against those global institutions whose silence and slander have become instruments of oppression.

Is The Finnish Government Involved In The Conspiracy Of Terrorism Ongoing In Biafraland

Is The Finnish Government Involved In The Conspiracy Of Terrorism Ongoing In Biafraland

The once peaceful Eastern Nigeria is now being systematically targeted to become a zone where tears fall like shadows on crumbling streets, where safety's promise is a hollow beat.

The government's hand, meant to shield and protect, now fuels the flames that our futures inspect.

The Nigerian government extraordinary rendition’s dark deed against the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, exposes the Western government's dual creed—justice in words, tyranny in deeds.

The West where Finland belongs, has been the abode of a Nigerian government sponsored agent provocateur, whose acts of deceptions ever since the illegal rendition of Kanu to Nigeria took flesh, had become a cancer, attempting to erode the fabrics and prospects of the pacifist and self-determination agitation and campaigns championed by the IPOB movement, turning their legitimate grievances into sensationalized spectacle to the point that the line between genuine activism and manufactured mayhem is being blurred especially to passive/non conscious minds, leaving well-intentioned individuals vulnerable to exploitation.

Simon Ekpa, as a Finnish resident underscores his amenable bound to the Finnish Constitutions and Laws.

And is by law, has no immunity whatsoever from prosecution by the Finnish government, when a clear evident corroboration of his criminal and terror conduct exists in the public domains. He was arrested sometimes by the Finnish authorities in early 2023 on charges related to his terrorism in Eastern Nigeria but was subsequently discharged and his casefile suspended indefinitely.

Raising a serious question about the involvement of the Finnish government in connivance with the Nigerian government to permit his reign and projection of terror from their soil. According to recent findings, trade turnout between Finland-Nigeria has skyrocketed since 2022, reaching a whopping of 47% in the past from an all-time low figure less than 10% in yester years.

The Finland based agent provocateur had been said to be appointed by the IPOB leader, to join in broadcasting and awareness creation for Biafra freedom through the Radio Biafra London platform, after his tragic ordeal and extraordinary rendition from Kenya, but got laid off after he refused to cooperate with the required vetting and induction protocols instituted within IPOB and Radio Biafra.

His criminal and sinister tendencies was spotted by the IPOB Leadership from the onset and as such fiercely resisted. He was never allowed near the IPOB Leadership, the radio Biafra platform or even the closest IPOB family in his country of residence, Finland.

Nevertheless, he whom the IPOB leader intended to take in a brother's guiding hand, now wields a destructive brand of terror against the people whose struggle and interests serve as the locomotive lubricant fueling the Biafra agitation. No noble cause in sight, Only darkness, endless reign of destruction. A typical disposition and characteristic of an agent provocateur.

Like Cain's dark legacy, he rose against his brothers, unprovoked.

He employed several techniques in other to sway his agenda into the very formidable IPOB movement, but failed miserably.

He began to call for unprepared arms struggle which is contrary to the guided approach of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB). His call and hit-and-run cowardly attacks on Nigeria military, police and other sister security formations in Biafraland only quadrupled their presence there, leaving the innocent citizens who are already being exploited for years by the aforementioned, to bear the brunt.

The Biafra restoration movement fostered by the IPOB family, worldwide, is rooted in the discipline and principles of peaceful insistence on demanding for a United Nation supervised referendum for the Biafran people.

Judging from the peaceful rallies, radio broadcasts and online engagements from the members of IPOB, demanding for their right to self-determination, on no account had they resorted to violence against the Nigerian State, nor its own people in the South East Nigeria having the fore understanding that one cannot kill and suppress the same people they’re fighting to defend.

Having the testimonial and prognostic afflictions of the Fulani herders (Miyetti Allah), whose modus operandi has been to kill, maim, rape, abduct and destroy the hard-earned works of farmers in/across Nigeria especially in Biafraland, IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu launched a security outfit, Eastern Security Network (ESN) across the South East, tasked with protecting and repelling the marauding Fulani elements within its Bushes.

Under the very directive of the IPOB leadership, they had stayed only and true to this primary assignment - within the bushes of the South East region, working vigorously as a vigilante group, in protection of their own people.

Ekpa claimed to have taken control of ESN. But he had lied— all to derail the very essence of IPOB’s heroic efforts in the South East.

IPOB had made it compendiously clear on several occasions through press statements that Mr. Ekpa does not belong to IPOB. He has no membership recognition in the IPOB organization, and as such has no right to speak on behalf of IPOB. His actions cannot be attributed to the IPOB movement.

Its presence in over 150 countries of the world, IPOB is duly recognized and respected to be the representatives championing the Biafra struggle for self-determination.

What whispered secrets corrupted the code of comprehension, to the effect that after the indictment of Mr. Ekpa by the Finnish Central Criminal Police for his numerous incitements and sponsorship of terrorism in Eastern Nigeria, was released and the case with-held since the February of 2023? Even Finnish investigative journalists came for a fact-finding mission to ascertain the truth about his destructive activities. They confirmed the authenticity of the crimes being committed from their soil

A pregnant woman was murdered, and her innocent premature fetus poured on the floors, Laborers were chased from the places of work, students tortured and vehicles burnt under the very inhumane directive of Mr. Ekpa, carried out by his contracted hoodlums all in the name of enforcing a non-existent Sit-At-Home order.

Videos has been uploaded and circulating on the internet, several petitions written, and rallies done in various forms to convey the message of grievances to the Finnish government, now led by @alexstubb, to invoke your criminal code of conducts on the person of Ekpa.

The Nigerian government has paid deaf ears to cries of the people of the East, across streets and towns, why is the Finnish government harbouring a known criminal and a terrorist within their borders?

This has come to the forefront of human understanding, that the Finnish government is complicit in the predicaments of the Eastern people, inflicted by Ekpa. They have been induced with juicy deals by the Nigerian state to turn a blind eye on the destruction in the South-East. Biafrans must come to this reality and collectively unite to combat this global conspiracy against us, and our region. Deflecting attention and false accusations will not solve any problem. Objective analysis and decisive actions is required. And all sincere hands must be on deck. A stitch in time saves nine.

Vindictive Circus: The Untold Power Tussle Between Justice Binta Nyako And Chief Judge Tsoho

Vindictive Circus: The Untold Power Tussle Between Justice Binta Nyako And Chief Judge Tsoho

It is already public knowledge that after the willful recusal of justice Binta Nyako from the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu - the leader of IPOB on 24th September 2024 and subsequent revert of the casefile to the Chief Judge office, the Nigerian Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, John Terhemba Tsoho has reassigned the case to her office with the reason that too many judges has been recused from the case and Mrs Nyako has become the most 'experienced Judge' with regards to her familiarity and precedence over the case for a very long period of time.

This is obviously a breach to the interest of both Mrs/Justice Nyako and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who came to the final realization and understanding that their path and fate in the years-long legal altercation has come to conclusive or rather subjective end and both parties must move on, and let the other seek remedy and peace from some other sources.

From all indications, it is safe to say that Mrs Nyako would be the most elated person on earth after the event turnout of September 24th 2024. The recusal plea of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was a mere formality to actualize her dream and aspirations to hands off the case that has placed her in a very dicey political tussle between a conflicting state actor vs semi-state actor. Where her career, family and their well-being were placed as factors of immense consideration while she discharged her "lady justice" duties. The corruption case of her son and husband became her Achilles' heel, as she is forced to do the bidding of the Federal government in return for their assured safety and protection from exposure and merciless prosecution.

Nevertheless, this seemingly joyous momentous relief for Mrs Nyako was cut short, as the federal government through the medium of the Federal High Court Cheif Judge - her direct superior - returned the case file to her desk. The Federal government appears to have no other strategy to apply with the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB movement under his leadership other than to blackmail their way out. Sadly yet laughably so.

Suffice to say, that there exists an internal rift between Mrs Nyako and Mr Tsoho which has also been ascertained of playing a significant role in this vindictiveness and insistence of the federal government against Mrs Nyako to continue manning, and stemming the tide in the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the Nigerian government.

The story goes way back from 2016 when Mr Tsoho was transferred from the Lagos Federal high Court division to the Abuja division. Family Writers Press International learnt.

His transfer in Federal high Court field of the FCT, Abuja was designed by the former president, Muhammadu Buhari and its sole aim was to facilitate the speedy conviction of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu whom had been arrested in Lagos the previous year (2015) and whom had been subsequently cleared of any guilt and discharged by Justice Ademola, a resolution the Nigerian state secret police, Department of States Services, at the behest of executive orders from the president refused to comply with.

Our source revealed that Justice Tsoho in exchange for his emergency uprooting from his juicy position in Lagos, where he enjoyed in luxury vied and struck a deal with the Attorney General of the Buhari's administration, Abubuakar Malami for the position of the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court Abuja as a compensation for the tedious task in question - to ensure Nnamdi Kanu is officially and legally put behind bars. And this was irrespective of his lower ranking to his superior, Mrs Nyako who was already in the bench and expectedly was to become the next Chief Judge of the Federal High Court.

Mrs Binta Nyako reportedly protested against the move as that was against protocol, yet to no avail. Coupled with the fact her promotion to the Supreme Court of appeal has been withheld a number of times. In addition, with regards to the corruption case of her husband and son, her possible transfer to her home state - Adamawa State - to become the state Chief Judge was foiled and resisted with a plethora of signed petitions.

Eventually, after the death of Justice Kafarati who was responsible for the proscription and outlawing of IPOB in Nigeria and gave the Nigeria military the leverage to move on with their extrajudicial crackdown against unarmed civilians and agitators of the IPOB movement. John Tsoho was elevated to become Chief Judge of the Federal High Court against the very orderly protocol set by the Nigerian judiciary system which would have rightfully placed Binta Nyako at the successor's position.

This bitterness and vindictiveness against Mrs Nyako by the powers that be, turned her into a mere vassal or rather an unconscious lackey. This explains why she honorably concurred with the recusal request of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and why the case was immediately reverted back to her.

Justice Binta Nyako is not only being blackmailed by the Nigerian government with the unruly records of her family members but has also become a hostage in the hands of the state. The swift reversion of the case to her desk can be deduced to be a subtle threat behind the scene by the government to compel her to fall in line or face further consequences.

This also explains why since after September 24th 2024, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been kept out of reach from the outside world including his legal representatives. The government is doing everything possible to inflict punishment for the embarrassment which they received as a result of the events of that day.

It must be stated that not only has Mrs Nyako's family been marked for total destruction, but also her career has been set up a sacrificial lamb for the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Whether the federal government succeeds or not does not really matter. An expendable has been selected to take the fall and all attempts made by the selected to save themselves will be fiercely resisted.

How the case will go from here is left to be seen. What we do know is that the IPOB movement has declined interest and confidence in the Nigerian judiciary system and events like this are self-evident enough to explain why such position is needed. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will not get justice from a judiciary manipulated at will and seamlessly by the federal government and the manipulating signatures can be brazenly seen. The Biafra case for self-determination including the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be resolved via a political solution. This is a reality all and sundry must get acquainted with.

Criminality In Biafraland And The Unfortunate Ignorance of The Nigerian Chief Of Defense Staff About IPOB

Criminality In Biafraland And The Unfortunate Ignorance of The Nigerian Chief Of Defense Staff About IPOB

Recently, the Nigerian Chief Of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa in an interview with one of Nigeria's TV station (TVC News) opined that the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) Movement and her struggle for self-détermination and independent state of Biafra from Nigeria is parochial and money driven, has nothing to do with agitation against marginalization. But of course, this is obviously a clear display of an ignorance borne out of incompetence, or it's a deliberate derogation of an Indigenous people's noble quest.

In Mr Christopher very own words; "They (IPOB) are doing for their own selves, a lot of them are doing it for the money they are making. They are not fighting for any region, they are fighting for themselves."

It is imperative to buttress that the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) movement is non-violent. And as such obtains the funds  for her activities via peaceful means; more precisely, via crowdfunding by active members of the movement all over the world and supporters who deem it important to support the struggle for emancipation against the marginalization being meted against Ndigbo(Biafrans). This has been true for IPOB since inception in 2012.

IPOB adopted the crowdfunding technique of Dee Sam Mbakwe, the late former governor of Imo State whose efforts gave birth to the first International airport in the South-East after the Biafra genocidal war of 1967-70.

After 1970, the Federal Government of Nigeria refused to commit to any developmental, infrastructural project in the region they bombed into oblivion for 30 months. Thus, the governor at his time passionately implored every household, community, indigene and clan not only in Imo State but across South East to generously crowdfund the construction of the airport in the state from ground zero till its final completion. Making it arguably the only project of such magnitude and calibre in the world, to become a reality under such community-based circumstances.

The freedom movement adopted this method since her methodology to Biafra restoration is intentionally inspired to avoid a repetition of belligerence over the Biafra quest, as much as possible. Thus, under such circumstances the movement cannot tax the people to fund struggle for Biafra self-détermination quest.

Secondly, such restraint of non-violence approach to agitation hinders the IPOB movement from getting distracted unto exerting control over natural resources obtained abundantly in Biafraland, which would undoubtedly provoke an inflow of more Nigerian armed forces into the peaceful region, and could undermine the position of IPOB as a non-violent group. And, had that been the case, logic dictates that IPOB under such situation would be compelled to engage the militarily and other Nigerian armed forces in defense of their lots and position on those natural resources. But that never served as the Movement's source of income and funds generation. Yet the movement has kept alive and and hardly kicking.

So, on this premises, IPOB choose to crowdfund her way out of oppression, having learnt from the outstanding precedence set by Dee Sam Mbakwe. Though, the intensity of the projects in question when juxtaposed are incomparable and humongous. Nevertheless, for IPOB, it has to be done, and there is no other way. Infact, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the IPOB movement who is still currently being incarcerated in Nigeria popularly maintained before his abduction that only the IPOB global family will fund the movement for Biafra restoration until its achievement.

And, the IPOB Leadership has disciplined themself to stay on this course, amidst pressing challenges which arose after the IPOB Leader was abducted and extraordinarily renditioned from Kenya in 2021. Events which led to the confiscation, grounding of the IPOB international account in Germany, which in it housed generous contributions from members of the global IPOB family.

It must be acknowledged that after the extraordinary rendition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, many elements sprung up and tried to inject, hijack, divert the IPOB-Biafra struggle into a money-making venture. Some of whom went as far as using insecurity to indirectly tax unsuspecting members of the people, kidnapping, looting and siezing properties of the people. The IPOB leadership decried certain elements using its name unbeknownst to them to go solicit for funds from political figures in various levels in Nigeria and they (IPOB Leadership) constantly denounced such, maintaining that the IPOB movement does not operate in such manner.

All of which ongoing is said to have been a covert operation, an orchestration sponsored by the Nigerian government, its security and intelligence agencies to either compel IPOB into making hard decisions and compromising on her modus operandi in terms of financial sustenance or/and to dispel and discourage contributors all over the world in the IPOB family to discontinue their inputs, thus leading to the collapse of the movement. There was also a plan to turn the people in the homeland against the leadership of IPOB movement as a consequence of the impersonation, criminality which its perpetrators hides under the name of IPOB or Biafra agitation to commit against the people.

Though all these have failed, as non of the objectives were attained to any reasonable or substantial extent, the orchestrators are not stopping. And, this explains the recent commentaries of the Nigerian Defence Cheif. The agenda is still much alive. The IPOB movement survived the financial sabotage at its heart since 2021 because its contingency plan - the IPOB global family - did not falter and abandoned the struggle and movement, even when there were pseudo, man-made or rather enemies' covertly sponsored reasons to do so.

Now, the Nigerian Defence Cheif (CDS) is out to resurrect and project this agenda, showing that the government is far from seeking detente with the IPOB movement or the Biafra quest for self-détermination, contrary to the rhetorics of few uniformed fellows who thinks or believes they have been assured of a negotiated conclusive end in favor of all.

The only thing hindering the agenda of demonizing IPOB in the eyes of the people is the institutionalized hate and phobia against the people of Eastern Nigeria - Ndigbo/Biafrans. The Nigerian government institutions, including its armed forces cannot help this as it is congenital, but continues to pursue the goal of destroying IPOB which is widely viewed by the people as a dome of defense and an output medium to mainstream their plight to the global community. This is why the agenda is failing and cannot hold.

The IPOB movement has undergone through very stiff challenges but has stayed true to its conviction and principles. It has refused to be compelled to change course. And even when planted elements from the within attempted to become willing tools, they were expelled immediately. Such discipline and passion is a precedence that is feared and is clear for targeting in the eyes of the powers that be.

Therefore, it is worth noting that the IPOB struggle for self-determination would have crumbled if it was money-centered, as claimed by Nigerian Chief Of Defense Staff.

But rather, the struggle for Biafra restoration is divine and ordained. It is the only hope and contingency for the people of East. This is why the people - whom by the way, funds it - will never abandon nor repel it, no matter the attempts or orchestrations of the government. So, it is time for the opposing parties to come to this indisputable reality and take the necessary steps.

A referendum is not a death sentence. It is a voting process to resolve a political solution through a popular will of the people. Use it!

Kanu's Wife Faults Agenda To Relocate Northern IDPs To East, Says It Alters The Demography And Security Of Indigenes

Kanu's Wife Faults Agenda To Relocate Northern IDPs To East, Says It Alters The Demography And Security Of Indigenes

Lolo Uchechi Okwu-Kanu

Lolo Uchechi Okwu-Kanu, wife to the incarcerated Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra movement, has condemned the collaborative plans between the federal government and elements of Imo State political juggernauts primarily the governor,  to relocate internally displaced people (IDPs) from the northern region to Nsu, ehime mbano Okigwe, Imo State under an alleged rehabilitation program for these refugees whom were displaced by terrorism that has bedeviled the north for over a decade.

Lolo Uchechi stated that while it is a plausible humanitarian initiative, there are other factors which should be put into serious consideration which according to her was not factored by those who agreed to the deal and are already in the conclusive inspecting stage of the site for the said program.

"Dear conscious ladies and gentlemen.

Providing a camping site or home for Refugees/Internally Displaced People or Persons as the case may be is a humanitarian aid."

"It is an act of #SelfPreservation. But have you heard of #Alterate-#SelfPreservation?

"The conscious people of Nsu in Ehime Mbanọ must refuse this unbridled and unchecked process by @Hope_Uzodimma1 as this could be a Trojan Horse due to the long standing incongruity between us and the Fulanis. And the fact that it is unchecked and unbridled begs for scrutiny", she argued.

Stating that taking to account the Fulanisation agenda through terrorism which has been projected by the Fulanis using state machineries and the subsequent resistance by the east through the IPOB movement and the ESN,  this planned rehab program could be an advanced infiltration scheme which would be exploited as time goes on, at the detriment of the security of the Indigenous populations of the East.

Moreso, she questioned why the site chosen for the rehab program is a tertiary institution built for studies contrary to the principles and standards of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), arguing why suitable places and installations in the north and other parts of the country lying moribund were not chosen for the program.

"During my Master Degree level, I did mapping and scenario simulations under a Disaster Recovery Module which the UNHCR uses."

"There are considerable factors when mapping a displacement site for IDPs as it's temporary.  Following the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency process flow maps."

"But the problem with #Africans and #Nigerians especially, is that they copy everything for show off purposes with no innate desire for understanding."

"These displacement sites are usually built and run by governments, @UN agencies or international organizations and NGOs, but there could also be spontaneous sites but never a SCHOOL BUILDING where students are receiving studies for crying out loud."

"The commissioner said they went round the building and it is ok for what they intend to do. Therefore, the vulnerable persons will share the laboratories with the University students? My goodness me, Make it make sense please."

The National Commissioner for Refugee, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons did not see the abandoned factory site near the government's reserved centers if you are headed to Kaduna through the road that leads to Jos from Nasarrawa? The only place they found is the NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY in Nsu Imo State.

What happens to Kano?

What is wrong with Abuja?

He said the government is making efforts to begin training of this vulnerable people in acquiring skills to reduce unemployment."

"What is Nigeria's attainment statistics amongst other countries in creating employment for her citizens? She asked.

"On the long standing incongruity between the Igbos and the Fulanis, the hatred they hold for Ndigbo (Igbo people). You needed to map that first, the safety of the (host)  residents must come first. It is the number one factor to consider when mapping a displacement site. And must also consider the affected communities.

Is Imo State not already in turmoil as insecurity festers?"

She surmised that not only is this initiative unsustainable in the sense that the facility in question is built specifically for tertiary education and as such not suitable for the program but also the security, demography of the people and region will be threatened in the long-term. Hence, these displaced persons should be hosted and rehabilitated in some other parts of the country.

"You are disrupting the tutoring and academic continuity of the students and their environment. You are demographically altering our place.

The people you are bringing do not need the university lecture room (it is a tertiary level) for their acquisition skill program."

"These displaced persons should be taken to the other parts of the country."

Ethnic Profiling in Nigeria: The Igbo Struggle for Survival Amid Targeted Harassment

Ethnic Profiling in Nigeria: The Igbo Struggle for Survival Amid Targeted Harassment

One of the most pressing issues facing Nigeria today is the persistent ethnic profiling and targeted persecution of the Igbo people. The Igbo, one of Nigeria’s major ethnic groups, are widely known for their entrepreneurial spirit and resilience, but they have also been victims of deep-seated animosity and discrimination within the country. Ethnic profiling against Igbos has become increasingly visible in the years following Nigeria’s civil war and has escalated to a point where many Ndigbo(Igbo People) have come to question their place in the Nigerian state. These experiences of harassment and marginalization are central to the ongoing call for the restoration of Biafra, the Igbo homeland.

While proponents of a unified Nigeria might dismiss the demands for Biafra as mere political posturing, a closer look at the everyday lives of the average Igbo reveals a pattern of institutionalized ethnic profiling and systemic injustice. It is no longer a question of political disagreements or regional tensions; the Igbo struggle is now rooted in their fight for survival in a nation that seems to see them as outsiders.

Igbo youths have been among the most visible targets of ethnic profiling. In several instances across the country, they have been rounded up by security forces, accused of being agitators or criminals based on nothing more than their ethnicity. The Nigerian government's treatment of young Igbos, particularly those with ties to freedom fighting movements like the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) has become synonymous with blanket repression and collective punishment.

For example, during periods of political unrest or when there are protests demanding the release of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, Igbo youths are often arbitrarily detained and massacred, many of them not even involved in the protests.

Simply being a young Igbo man in certain regions of the country automatically places you under suspicion. This has led to widespread fear among the Igbo, with many parents warning their children to avoid certain public spaces or political gatherings to avoid being falsely labeled as insurgents or agitators.

In many instances, these youths are detained without trial, with no charges brought against them. Their detentions, which sometimes last months or even years, highlight the degree to which ethnic profiling has become a weapon used to suppress the Igbo people. The message from the state seems to be clear: any show of Igbo pride or solidarity will be met with suspicion and force.

The economic success of the Igbo people has been both a blessing and a curse. Igbos are renowned for their entrepreneurial acumen, dominating trade, industry, and commerce in various parts of the country and world at large. However, this success has often made them targets for harassment by government officials and regulatory bodies. From Lagos to Abuja, Igbo traders and businesspeople are regularly subjected to excessive taxation, unnecessary delays in clearing goods, and trumped-up charges of smuggling or trading substandard products.

In many cases, the harassment appears to be motivated not by genuine concerns over business practices but by ethnic prejudice. It is not uncommon to hear stories of Igbo traders being raided by customs officers or local authorities under the guise of enforcing regulations, only to discover that their goods were perfectly legal. Yet, even after proving their innocence, these traders often face lengthy legal battles or lose significant income due to the disruption of their businesses.

The 2020 case of Igbo traders in Lagos who were accused of importing substandard goods is a prime example. Despite meeting all regulatory requirements, they were detained, and their goods seized without cause. It was only after a public outcry and the intervention of advocacy groups that the authorities were forced to release them, but the damage had already been done. This kind of economic sabotage serves as a clear indication that ethnic profiling extends beyond law enforcement into other sectors of society, with devastating effects on the livelihoods of innocent people.

Another disturbing example of ethnic profiling comes in the form of the frequent targeting of Igbos at police and military checkpoints. While checkpoints are meant to ensure the safety and security of all Nigerians, they have become hotspots for ethnic discrimination, particularly against Igbos. Reports of harassment, unlawful searches, and demands for bribes are common, with many Igbo travelers reporting that they are singled out more often than individuals from other ethnic groups.

The experience of being stopped at a checkpoint can be humiliating and frustrating for many Igbo people. It often begins with excessive questioning, followed by invasive searches of personal belongings, vehicles, and sometimes even homes. For Igbo men and women, the mere fact of traveling through regions outside their home states can turn into a traumatic ordeal. A trip meant to last a few hours can extend to days of detention if a suspicious security officer decides to single them out.

In the northern and western parts of Nigeria, Igbos are especially vulnerable to this kind of profiling. Travelers are often detained on flimsy grounds, such as possessing Biafran flags or other symbols of Igbo identity. In such instances, the assumption is that anyone who associates with the Biafran cause must be guilty of sedition or insurrection, regardless of whether they have broken any laws. The entire Igbo identity, then, is reduced to one of rebellion and disloyalty to Nigeria.

The ethnic profiling of Ndi Igbo is not limited to social or economic spheres; it also extends to the political realm. For decades, the Igbo people have been systematically marginalized from the highest levels of power in Nigeria. While other ethnic groups have dominated the presidency, the vice presidency, and other key government positions, Igbo People have been left out of the country’s political decision-making process.

This marginalization has fueled the belief that the Igbo people are unwanted in Nigeria. In the political landscape, their loyalty is often questioned, and their interests sidelined. The lack of Igbo representation in national politics is not due to a lack of qualified candidates but rather a deliberate exclusion that stems from the post-civil war distrust of the Igbo people.

During the 2019 elections, for example, several reports emerged of Igbo voters being harassed and prevented from voting in parts of Lagos. In some cases, thugs were hired to intimidate Igbo residents and discourage them from participating in the election. This form of voter suppression was rooted in the belief that Igbo voters would not support the ruling party and therefore had to be excluded from the process. Such incidents highlight how deeply entrenched ethnic bias is in Nigeria’s political system.

The way Igbo people are portrayed in the media further exacerbates the problem of ethnic profiling. Negative stereotypes of the Igbo people as rebels, agitators, or troublemakers are regularly reinforced by the Nigerian media. Whenever there is a crime, riot, or unrest involving an Igbo person, their ethnicity is often highlighted, as if being Igbo inherently makes one prone to lawlessness.

This contrasts sharply with how individuals from other ethnic groups are portrayed in the media, where their ethnicity is rarely mentioned unless it serves a positive narrative. For Ndi Igbo, the media's negative portrayal serves to legitimize the discriminatory treatment they receive from the state and from society at large. It reinforces the idea that Igbos are not loyal Nigerians and that their demands for equal rights or political representation are illegitimate.

This portrayal is particularly harmful to young Igbos who are growing up in a country that seems to view them with suspicion and hostility. It plants the seed of resentment and alienation, contributing to a cycle of distrust between the Igbo people and the Nigerian state.

The ethnic profiling of Igbos is not just an isolated problem; it is a symptom of a deeper, systemic issue that has plagued Nigeria since its creation. The marginalization, harassment, and persecution of the Igbo people have led many within the community to conclude that their future cannot be secured within the Nigerian state. This sentiment is what drives the continued agitation for the restoration of Biafra.

For Ndi Igbo, the idea of an independent Biafra is not just about self-determination or cultural pride. It is about survival. They see the current Nigerian state as one that cannot protect their interests, provide them with opportunities for political representation, or allow them to thrive without discrimination. The constant targeting of Igbos by security forces, the media, and the political establishments has led to a growing sense of alienation and frustration. The Biafran movement, therefore, is seen as a response to these injustices, a way to carve out a space where Ndi Igbo can live in peace and dignity, free from ethnic profiling and persecution.

While some Nigerians may view the call for Biafra as a threat to national unity, for NdiIgbo, it represents hope. Hope for a future where they are not constantly under suspicion, where they can express their identity without fear of reprisal, and where they can build a prosperous and inclusive society. The demand for Biafra is rooted in the lived experiences of generations of Igbo people who have been treated as second-class citizens in their so called country.

Ethnic profiling against Ndi Igbo in Nigeria is not just a legal or political issue—it is a fundamental human rights violation that affects every aspect of life for the Igbo people. From arbitrary arrests to economic harassment, from political exclusion to media stereotyping, Ndi Igbo are routinely subjected to discrimination based on their ethnicity.

As long as the ethnic profiling continues, the call for Biafra Nation will continue to rise.

Recuse Yourself From Kanu's Case Of Extraordinary Rendition, Wife Tells Justice Binta Nyako As D-day Approaches

Recuse Yourself From Kanu's Case Of Extraordinary Rendition, Wife Tells Justice Binta Nyako As D-day Approaches

Uchechi Okwu-Kanu

Uchechi Okwu-Kanu, wife to the incarcerated Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has called on the presiding judge at the federal high Court Abuja, Justice Binta Nyako to recuse herself from the case, saying that the later appears to have been muzzled into complying with the agenda of the successive executive arm of government whom was responsible for the kidnap and extraordinary rendition of her husband from Kenya and his subsequent or rather continued incarceration at the DSS headquarters Abuja.

In a reminder tweet made on her verified X social handle (@Okwu-Kanu) anticipating the upcoming court sitting to be held on 24th September 2024, Mrs Kanu recounted the centuries-long historic injustices which has been meted on the Igbo race and black Africans at large. Positing that the currrent struggle for emancipation of the dark continent - which her husband, Nnamdi Kanu is one of its proponents - is spurred and inspired by the reincarnated older generations whom are back to continue the fight against oppression from where they stopped in their past lives.

She questioned why Africans, as naturally obtained with every warm blooded mammal are yet to activate their self preservation instincts even though they are faced with multiple existential threats aimed at completely destroying their lives and future of the next generation. She called on Africans to collectively commence the process of activating their self preservation instincts.

In the same vein, she called on Ndigbo whom are faced with existential threats of collective survival to activate their lifesaving self preservation instincts and in her view, the first off step in that regard would be for they [Ndigbo] to collectively work and ensure that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is being incarcerated by the federal government for seeking self determination of Ndigbo through a United Nations supervised referendum after years of marginalization, is rescued from captivity and plans of perpetually persecution.

Furthermore, she called on the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma to withdraw his ulterior dealings and orchestrations against the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, her husband. Buttressing that she is in knowledge of his vindictive attitudes and asked him to contemplate about the future and do noble by withdrawing his machinations.

Finally, she assured that no matter how far lies travels, the truth shall triumph and the righteous shall be vindicated.

Her Statement In Full:

Our generation, the next generation and our descendants are the reason we are pushing.

Our ancestors have returned and are asking questions!!!

They want to know the reason Igbos are treated differently.

They want to know why the Igbos cannot switch on their self-preservation instinct.

The basic human and animal instinct to protect themselves from any form of harm.

Ndi Igbo, we must activate our self preservation instincts to protect our race.

Start by actively requesting the release of your own #NnamdiKanu.

#Africans at large, activate your self preservation instincts and skills.

#NnamdiKanu's next court date is on the 24th of September, 2024. Our voices should be loud for:

1). Justice Binta Nyako to recuse herself from continuing to hear #MNK's extraordinary rendition case.

2). To ask governor Hope Ụzọdinma of Imo State to "remove the monkey's hand from the soup pot, before it becomes the hand of a human being. Nobody sits on power forever.

I have never called your name but you must know that "swift walking legs are seen by rapid moving eyes".

And "no matter how fast you run, you can never run away from your backside".

Persistence Amidst Challenges: The Insurmountable And Formidable Spirit of IPOB

Persistence Amidst Challenges: The Insurmountable And Formidable Spirit of IPOB

The Nigerian government has been working nonstop to weaken and discredit the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), but they have persevered while growing in power and influence. IPOB has come a long way from her modest beginnings, showcasing perseverance in the face of multiple adversity and unflinching dedication to purpose. The movement’s resilience in the face of official criticism and attempts to damage her reputation says a lot about her foundational commitment and honesty.

For many people, IPOB has represented resistance and hope since her founding. Under Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s direction, the movement has maintained an unwavering commitment to non-violence and self-determination. She has thrived both locally and internationally in spite of the many obstacles it has encountered, such as the absence of her leader owing to Nigeria government’s abduction, extraordinary rendition and protracted torture. This impressive expansion demonstrates the movement’s capacity to mobilize supporters and uphold essential principles in the face of obstacles – manufactured and/or real.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s statement that IPOB is “whiter than snow” demonstrates the movement’s dedication to openness, morality, and decency. This metaphor emphasizes the movement’s attempts to project an image of purity and innocence despite harsh criticism and unfounded allegations. IPOB stands distinct from many other groups under comparable constraints because of her restraint and unwillingness to participate in violent acts. A testament to ideological dedication.

The Nigerian government has employed various tactics in their futile attempts to discredit and dismantle IPOB. One of the most persistent strategies has been to falsely associate the Biafra Restoration Project with criminal activities. Despite numerous allegations, no member of the movement has ever been convicted of a crime, a testament to the movement’s commitment to lawful conduct.

For instance, on multiple occasions, the Nigerian government claimed to have jammed Radio Biafra, IPOB’s primary medium for disseminating information and rallying support. On October 16, 2017, the Nigerian government announced that it had successfully jammed Radio Biafra’s broadcasts. Despite this claim, Radio Biafra continued to operate, highlighting the government’s failure to suppress the movement’s voice. Similarly, on February 22, 2018, the government again declared that it had disrupted the radio station’s transmissions. Yet, Radio Biafra remained accessible to its global audience, defying the government’s efforts to silence it.

These attempts to jam Radio Biafra not only failed but also underscored the movement’s resilience. Despite spending substantial resources—estimated in the billions of dollars—to disrupt the radio station, the Nigerian government was unable to achieve its objective. This failure illustrates the strength and effectiveness of IPOB’s communication network and her ability to circumvent government efforts to stifle important messages from reaching esteemed audience.

The Nigerian government has also been known to attribute crimes committed by various miscreants in the Southeast region to IPOB, often without evidence. These allegations are part of a broader strategy to paint the movement as a violent and disruptive force, thereby justifying harsher measures against the members. However, these claims have consistently proven to be unfounded.

For example, in the wake of sporadic violence in the Southeast, the government and media outlets frequently attribute such incidents to IPOB, despite the lack of credible evidence linking the movement to these acts. This pattern of baseless accusations aims to tarnish the movement’s reputation and diminish her support base. Yet, the unalloyed adherence to the principles of non-violence and self-determination remains clear, and no substantial proof has emerged to substantiate the government’s claims.

At the core of movement’s resilience is the existence of truth and integrity engraved in her sturdy foundation. The movement operates within a framework of ethical principles and holds firm to an immutable belief in justice and righteousness. This commitment is reflected in the way she addresses false accusations and continues to advocate for the self-determination cause through peaceful means.

The movement’s activities and leadership are guided by the principles of truthfulness and respect for human rights. A refusal to engage in and total rejection of violence, despite provocations and severe repression, is representative of dedication to planned goals. This adherence to truth and non-violence is central to IPOB’s identity and has been a key factor in endurance and growth, even in the face of adversity.

The movement's adherence to the founding principles and the upward curve in growth amidst adversity are often attributed to divine protection and strength. The leadership and members believe that their cause is just and that their efforts are blessed by ChukwuAbiama (the Supreme God). This spiritual belief reinforces their commitment and provides a sense of purpose.

Additionally, the members are steadfast in their belief that no man or woman born can stain or derail the movement and escape the divine retribution of God. This belief in divine justice not only fortifies their resolve but also serves as a source of inspiration and motivation in their ongoing struggle for self-determination and justice.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has demonstrated remarkable resilience and professionalism in the face of concerted efforts by the Nigerian government to discredit and suppress the movement. Despite numerous attempts to tarnish her esteemed image, including failed efforts to jam Radio Biafra and baseless accusations of criminal activities, IPOB has continued to thrive and grow.

As IPOB continues her divinely assigned journey, it does so with the confidence that these foundational principles and divine protection will sustain the mortal efforts and lead her towards achieving her goals. The movement’s ability to endure and grow amidst adversity is a powerful testament to her strength and dedication, reflecting the enduring spirit of the nonnegotiable cause and the insatiable commitment of members and supporters.

Strategic Silence: The Art Of Statecraft And Counter Manipulation In Biafra Restoration Project

Strategic Silence: The Art Of Statecraft And Counter Manipulation In Biafra Restoration Project

Your enemies only want you to respond to their attacks. Instead of doing that, use silence to create fear amongst them because they don't know your next move. And remember, they'll like to know and see your next move. When you reply them immediately trying to declare your innocence or revenge, you make yourself weak before them. They study you more than you could study yourself.

They'll regroup and add more fire to their attacks. They'll continue to seek your attention so as to make you expose your plans, position and might before taking you down strategically.

The enemies love attention. They want you to talk about them. They want you to be restless about how to take revenge on them. This is their art of manipulations.

However, when one understands these skills, no enemy can know your next move. When you deny them attention, you create silence. That silence created will then make them be in a disjointed position. Out of the know of your position and move. Wether you're preparing something bigger than them or not, they do not know but want to know. If there are no clues to help them navigate through to attack you the more, you place yourself in better position against them in future.

This is just an art of counter manipulations deployed by state actors to navigate through difficult times, especially during confrontational wars or ideological wars.

Sometimes, people don't understand the SILENCE exhibited by the IPOB directorate of state DOS. That is why you see some shallow minded fellows coming out to ask what is the DOS doing to free our leader. Those people are gullible to understand what is happening and why the tide tilts and what the various trajectories demand.

State actorship is not a mere politicking business. It involves more than the lay people can imagine. It is not about coming on social media handles to tell you what plans and policies will be done. It is not your regular ụmụnna meeting executive where every opinion is given time to be expressed.

By the time many understand these demanding sectors of being in charge of a Nation's welfare, such as; Diplomacy, Geopolitics, State Actor Positioning, Counter Manipulation Strategies, False Flag Operations, Proxy Infiltration, Lobbying Manipulation, Economic Policing, etc, Biafra Restoration would be far achieved.

Lately, we have seen the tide of events in Nigeria. How various groups are being organized to advise Nigerian government to listen and allow wise counsel to prevail by using current provisions provided to create room for a National Referendum for the Peoples' in Nigeria. This did not just happen out of the air, IPOB leadership advertently and inadvertently brought us all to this level of equal playing ground. These Men and Women are exceptional in statecraft. They know their onions so much that many who are cerebral enough are beginning to understand that there's actually light at the end of the tunnel.

If not the firm defiance and abhorrence to violent agitation smartly played by the DOS since this turbulent and provocative 3 years of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's illegal incarceration, there wouldn't have been anything like what you're hearing about the Nigerian polity now. Nobody would've been talking about Referendum today in Nigeria. It would have been how to stop the bombardments of Southeast region by the Nigerian military.

The DOS, tactically displayed against the backdrop of many advisories to engage in arm struggle from various quarters, their counter manipulation superiority in the art of Statecraft. Otherwise, had they taken to the path of going confrontational against the Nigerian State, behold, Southeast by now would have been in shambles. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu would have by now been jailed and IPOB lost it's legitimacy in Biafraland. Thanks to the ingenuity of the DOS.

Do not ever despise the silence of a green snake in a green grass over it's quietness, for it's tail could be it's head. Meanwhile, as our fingers are crossed and our eyes fixed on the goal, we await the Nigerian government at the junction of Referendum.

The DOS are ever wise.

Enforced Disappearance: Nigerian Military Embark On Secret Court Martial Conviction, Sentences Abducted Igbo Youths To Prisons In Northern Nigeria

Enforced Disappearance: Nigerian Military Embark On Secret Court Martial Conviction, Sentences Abducted Igbo Youths To Prisons In Northern Nigeria

The issue of enforced disappearing of citizens in Eastern Nigeria by the Nigerian forces has taken a deeply troubling dimension. And, the recent reports of the Nigerian military, especially the Nigerian Army engaging in secret court martial proceedings to convict and sentence Igbo youths abducted at various locations across Southeast to prisons in Northern Nigeria underscores the plethora of grave violation of human rights and blatant disregard to rule of law by the Nigerian Military in collaboration with the Nigeria government.

In recent months, there have been disturbing reports of enforced disappearances of hundreds of Igbo Men and Youths. These abductions are being carried out in collusion between elements of the Nigerian Military; the Army and the state secret police(DSS).

These victims, when abducted by Nigerian security forces, gets denied due process, access to family members and fundamental legal protections, while the Nigerian Military authorities continue to deny these accusations and also refuse to disclose accurate information about the fate and whereabouts of these disappeared youths held in various detention facilities in the north.

A disturbing yet reliable report gathered by Family Writers Press International, has it that the Nigerian military have begun a court martial process in the North to convict and imprison these Igbo Youths abducted and kept in secret dungeons in Northern barracks.

The report revealed that these court martial proceedings are being conducted in secret, without allowing these victims access to their own legal protection, family relations, judicial transparency or oversight. These blatant egregious acts show the unending violations of the principles of justice and the rule of law by the Nigerian military.

Moreso, investigations by Human Rights groups and eyewitness testimonies reveal that  these missing Igbo youths have been secretly moved from the South and detained at various military facilities in the North after their extra-legal abductions from the streets and highways of Southeast.

Several reliable sources revealed that the abducted youths were subsequently subjected to a sham court martial process behind closed doors. They have been summarily tried and convicted at kangaroo court-martial for fictitious crimes, with sentences ranging from 5 to 20 years imprisonment handed down to them. In a worrisome development, the convicted youths have quietly been transported and incarcerated in faraway maximum security prisons located in Northern Nigeria, far from their communities and families in the South-East. The affected families and local advocacy groups expressed shock and outrage at this brazen abuse of power and flagrant violation of legal and human rights by the Nigerian military. They accuse the Nigerian security forces of illegally detaining and disappearing the Igbo youths solely for their ethnicity in the ongoing tensions over secessionist agitations, ethni-political tensions in the country.

In a recent development, one Emeka Ngonadi (Male, 42) was kidnapped and disappeared by the personnel of the Nigerian Army on his way to Owerri from Lagos on 10th April, 2024, and was spontaneously accused of several allegations such as being a member of IPOB, participating and enabling terrorism activities in Nigeria. It was gathered after reliable investigations carried out by his legal counsel that he was moved to Wawa Army barracks in the North were he was later court-martial and sentenced to five (5) years in prison in the North without access to a legal representative or family relations.

What is most troubling about this situation is the blatant disregard for  basic human rights of these kidnapped victims involved. These abducted youths who have not been found to be involved in any illegal activities by any Nigerian court of competent jurisdiction, are being stripped of their freedoms and their dignity without any semblance of a fair trial in a court of competent jurisdiction. The fact that they are being held in prisons in the northern parts of the country, far from their family relatives, homes and communities, only adds to the  sense of isolation, mental torture and dehumanization meted on them in these faraway dungeons.

Again, the fact that Nigerian military who often times declare their loyalty to the democratic principles and to the constitution of Nigeria, to embark on these secret court-martial trials and convictions of innocent youths abducted in Southeast in a democratic dispensation, underscores the high levels of abuse of power, disregard to the principle of checks and balances, violation of the principles of rule of law, human rights and negligence to due process by the Nigerian military authorities.

The implications of this situation extend far beyond the individuals directly affected. It represents a fundamental erosion of the principles of justice and the rule of law in Nigeria, with the military and government colluding to circumvent legal protections and due process to victims of enforced disappearances. This sets a dangerous precedent that have far-reaching consequences for the country's democratic institutions and the rights of all of its citizens.

Moreover, the use of enforced disappearance as a tool of political repression is a grave violation of international human rights law. Nigeria has been countlessly found guilty of this act despite having ratified numerous international treaties and conventions that prohibit such practices.  It is incumbent upon the government to uphold these commitments and ensure that the rights of all its citizens are protected under the treaties binding on her.

In the face of these egregious human rights abuses, it is essential that the international community, as well as human rights and civil society organizations within Nigeria, speak out and demand accountability from the Nigerian military. The Nigerian government must be held responsible to account for its high-handed actions, and violation of  its citizens human rights and freedoms.

Unless the Nigerian authorities provide answers regarding the whereabouts and wellbeing of these abducted and disappeared Igbo youths languishing in various detention facilities in Nigeria, Nigeria will continue to be called out  for their failure and violations of both national and international laws protecting citizens from arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance, and the right to a fair judicial process. These undemocratic actions, such as the secret court-martial trials will continue to further undermine the trust in state institutions and fray inter-ethnic relations at a time when dialogue is needed the most. Pressure is mounting for an independent investigation and accountability of all those complicit in these injustices, especially in the Nigerian Army personnel and other security forces.

Therefore, it is advisable for the Nigerian government and military authorities to release all victims of secret court-martial trials held in the North, if Nigeria truly prides itself as a democratic country. Otherwise, if these undemocratic actions go unresolved, Nigeria will be heading to self-inflicted anarchy and subtle military takeover. The time to act wise is now.
