We were with our fliers and nothing more replied a victim.

We were with our fliers and nothing more replied a victim.

By Ifeanyi Chijioke
(For Family Writers)

Why the alarming silence? On 30th of August 2015 unarmed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in their thousands were shot by Nigeria navy and police while on evangelism at Onitsha, three members died while 30 sustained fierce gunshot injuries.  Were you people with guns or knives or studs or sticks? We were with our fliers and nothing more replied a victim.

Navy has constantly denied the unlawful engagement while the police said there was a clash but denied gunning down Biafrans. This saga is the latest, Biafrans had been unlawfully killed before the war, killed in their millions during the war, killed after the war and its ongoing, Buhari is the commander of the squad in disguise of soldiers and police who  specialized in kidnapping and killing of Biafrans till date and yet the world leaders are silent.

Nigeria prisons and cells are the hide outs where our people are kept under scorch. Why this alarming silence? Is it because we have been killed to an extent that any news of our unlawful murder by Nigeria will stir uproar among common citizens of the world?  Why this alarming silence? Is it because of its overdue or we have paid enough price to be free? I would not accept that conscience-breathed men are no more but will accept that the terror upon us is much that it should not be spoken to the detriment of countries that fights and upholds justice!!!
