Nigeria as a country can't be a place for Biafrans

Nigeria as a country can't be a place for Biafrans

I respect suggestions but it becomes inevitable to knock it out when not substantiated. I have read many people who blindly or rather ignorantly say that Biafrans love going outside Biafra land to invest and wondered or questioned why they still agitate for Biafra, will they stop doing business or really bear the taxations that would be leveled on them as foreigners. They have yet failed to ask why exactly we Biafrans invest outside Biafra land.  And are they not aware that in Akure, Ekiti and Lagos that Biafrans pay higher tax like foreigners but in this case are called non-indigenes.

Let me give reasons we invest outside Biafra land, and you will understand the effect or subjugation and marginalization, Biafrans are into in Nigeria: we are the business conscious people but we have been so marginalized that we seek easy access elsewhere. We have river at the backyard but travel 800km to receive our goods, we however try to go where business will be easier, how have they misconstrued or misfortune for passion? Poor or no roads in Biafra land were a factor that forced Biafrans out of their land.

Biafrans have chosen to embrace Biafra because their sufferings are immeasurable. Nigeria as a country can't be a place for Biafrans because their investment has turned leverage. Biafrans face deportation, harassment, taxation and threats because Yorubas and Hausa/Fulani have nothing in Biafra land because it is a marginalized place that doesn't attract investors. The emergence of Biafra will set the stage agog for Biafran business class and engineers because they would be empowered. The emergence of Biafra will safeguard their investments under international law or return them safely through government policies.

However regarding the taxation that will be imposed, I wonder what will make Biafrans leave developed Biafra for Nigeria that will still be ravaged by corruption and more, With presence of good roads, wharf, airport etc. The world will be coming into Biafra land to do their various businesses and invest, finally I will ask, with the presence of infrastructure, social amenities and working government, who will still remember Nigeria or go there to do business?

  1. This is absolutely true. And not only bad roads but also poor or no electricity. I'm pissed off with no light in the villages of Biafra under one Nigeria context. So there is no point staying together. Biafra will sort herself out. Come Biafra wonders begin to happen. Sorry for the ugwuawusas and the yoyobas .
