Police Clampdown Will Harden IPOB to Take up Arms – Constitutional Lawyer Warns Buhari

Police Clampdown Will Harden IPOB to Take up Arms – Constitutional Lawyer Warns Buhari

The police recently began a clampdown on the members of IPOB, disrupting their meetings. In this interview with Oriental News, Uzoatu warned the police over their actions against IPOB, saying that if they do not desist from it they may harden the movement to becoming a violent group.

The incessant attack and harassment of the members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) will force them to pick up arms which is very dangerous.

  1. IT IS A SIGN OF BACKWARDNESS AND PRIMITIVE SOCIETY THAT NIGERIA IS TO CLAMP DOWN ON PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATORS!IN ADVANCED COUNTRIES SUCH AS SPAIN AND OTHERS,PEACEFUL AGITATION FOR SELF DETERMINATION IS LEGAL WITHIN LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL LAWS, AND SO IT IS IN NIGERIA!PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION FOR THE RELEASE OF THE LEADER OF THE IPOB AND DIRECTOR OF RADIO BIAFRA! IS NOT JUST NORMAL BUT LEGAL BUT NIGERIA IS FORCING IPOB TO BE VIOLENT! AND THE WORLD IS KEEPING MUTE OVER NIGERIA'S UNRULY TREATMENT,KILLING AND MANHANDLING OF BIAFRANS!

  6. Hope the enslaved Nigerian Government will not be deceived by their colonial master (Britain) and think that We (BIAFRANS) don’t know what we are talking about, or that we are only youth that didn’t witnessed the civil war? Hope the Government will not take ugly trend of shooting and provoking the already wounded people of Biafrans as they carry out their peaceful protest against the illegal detention of our amiable Director Nnamdi Kanu?
I enjoin the Government of Nigeria not to trust on their arms or on fake support from Britain, contained in their affirmation and support for contracted expired country called Nigeria unity letter issued!
If Nigeria arm forces abuse our right of expression and peaceful protest; that will amount imprisonment and intimidation of our right, which will trigger mayhem and violent, No abuse of our right and intimidation will be taking lightly; NIGERIA BE WARNED!!! Any intimidation and harassment by Nigeria arm forces will definitely lead to total revolution that will escalate above control to eventual disintegration of Nigeria and thus fast track actualization of Sovereignty State of Biafra!!!
Finally, whether they attack us or allow peace to rain: BIAFRA IS AT HAND! It must surely come!!!
