The Zoo Nigeria government made a mistake by arresting IPOB leader Kanu

If the Federal government will listen to the voice of wisdom, let them set the Biafran activist they are holding in custody free. I foresaw what is going on now and said that our government made a mistake by arresting IPOB leader Kanu. Why I said, this is that I live with the grassroots people, and I know that the polity is supercharged, and such arrest will only serve as petrol that will worsen the raging fire.
Now they have arrested him; sympathy is being heightened, and the resultant effect will be a breakdown of law and order.
I am also using this opportunity to call on our state government to approach the raging protests with extreme diplomacy, because what I saw today showed people that are fed up, just like America got fed up with the British tax collectors.
Now the people are protesting the arrest, and the military are shooting unarmed youths, the question is whether such blood letting is the solution or are we trying to create another Syria in Nigeria?
My worry now is that those protesting crowd have marked us (the political class) as their enemies because we showed no interest in their Struggles. What happened today at Onitsha has shown that these activists are prepared to lay down their lives, as the military fire at them, people were falling stone dead but they still surged like locust, and I knew that we are in for trouble.
They accused our government of ordering the shooting, no, it is not true, the Governor never ordered the shooting of anyone; this protest is beyond political mobilizations. Otherwise I would have tagged it the handiwork of opposition group.
The only way out is dialogue, dialogue and dialogue.
God bless you all.
