THE RETURN OF DICTATOR BUHARI

THE RETURN OF DICTATOR BUHARI

Buhari
"The fire which lightens is the same fire that consumes." - Henri Frederic

Last December 2015 I read in the news that Cardinal John Oneiyekan, the Catholic archbishop of Abuja had called on President Muhammadu Buhari to stop being a dictator and change not only others but himself.

I realized there are still some truthful clergy men in Islamic-Nigeria. The Nigeria media with its brown envelope journalists has geared all their efforts in disseminating falsehood to their readers about Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB),who is been extra judicially detained by the state secret service on the orders of Buhari.

Why are the brown envelope journalists not informing the public about the unlawful retrieval of the 2016 Budget from the floors of the National Assembly where it was constitutionally presented? The duo of Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker Yakubu Dogara have persistently exhibited their spineless character as Buhari has subjected the legislative arm of government in Nigeria to a "reception room" where his orders are obeyed without questions. Did Buhari go through the lawful procedure of retrieving the 2016 Budget back to his office? Buhari retrieved the 2016 Budget because of the visit of International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director,Christine Lagarde to Nigeria. Christine Lagarde is very intelligent to deny him the loan he requested from the organization because she knows Nigeria is at a stage of collapse with the fall in oil price and internal conflicts.

The execution of Mohammed Yusuf, the spiritual leader of BokoHaram in custody of Nigeria police radicalized his followers into arms struggle and they have not been contained by the Nigeria armed forces till date.

Nnamdi Kanu is been tortured and has fallen sick and urgently requires medical attention. Kanu has been released UNCONDITIONALLY by a high court judge;"unconditionally" in the sense that there is no charge against him and he is a free man and should be released. Subjecting him to extra judicial detention and torture is lawlessness at its peak.

I do not wish for his death but Nigeria will erupt in chaos if any harm is done to him. Muhammudu Buhari is a 72 year old tyrant who has achieved his uppermost desire of becoming a president after failing severally. He is a hardcore jihadist whose action of disobeying court orders is been applauded by a supposed legal luminary like Prof Itse Sagay who was recently given an appointment by the government. I implore sensible and fearless members of the Judiciary not to allow themselves to be cowed into submitting as puppets to be controlled by the executive; there must be separation of power.
