#TYRANTBUHARI TRENDING ON TWITTER

#TyrantBuhari  trending on twitter

When I logged into twitter and saw that #TyrantBuhari is trending, a tweet caught my attention and it states: "#TyrantBuhari should know that youths of 1980's are not the same with youths of 2016. Every form of tyranny will be resisted."

The maiden presidential media chat of President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria exposed him as an unrepentant dictator, an anti-democratic and violator of court orders.  Foreign journalists like Kenneth Roth and Jeffrey Smith have also expressed shock and warned about the consequence of disobeying court orders by the president in a democratic government.

An online petition by Carol Ajie on change.org calling for the resignation of Buhari for disobeying court orders has gained momentum and has gathered more signatories. The Presidency has downplayed the events but it should be aware that the citizens are enlightened and will not be deterred from fighting for their rights. President Muhammadu Buhari should obey court orders and stop meddling into affairs of other tiers of government to avoid lawlessness and anarchy. We are in a democratic system of government and not a military regime.
There are indications that millions of dollars were paid to online bloggers/journalist to defend the reputation of President Muhammadu Buhari online.
