BUHARI DISGRACED, DENIED PLEA TO MOLEST BIAFRANS IN LONDON

BUHARI DISGRACED, DENIED PLEA TO MOLEST BIAFRANS IN LONDON

The least is yet to be heard, Buhari's crazy trips to the world for a taste of foreign tea took a different dimension in London. After his EU meeting, Buhari was billed to travel to London where he would address Nigerian community after his meeting with the government of UK. The report reaching our news room from a witness have it that Buhari was disgraced and subsequently denied the plea for London metropolitan police to clamp down on Biafrans to allow him exit.

According to the account by an eye witness

Yes, i can tell you that.  Angry Biafrans blocked Buhari from entry into the Kensington Close Hotel where he was billed to address Nigeria Community in the United Kingdom. Unknown to Buhari and his people, angry Biafrans rushed and blocked him from entry as he entered the lobby of the hotel. It took the intervention of the metropolitan police to allow him passage after persuading Biafran to calm down.

This disorganized and affected Buharis program as he could only spend about ten minutes in the supposedly town hall meeting. While Biafrans waited outside the hotel entrance for Buhari’s exit, his aids pleaded with the metropolitan police to ask them to leave. The police rebuffed them, letting them know that these people have right under the law to stay where they wanted to. Afraid of Biafrans on his way out, he has to be smuggled through the basement of the hotel

Buhari had tried to use his power as the president of federal republic of Nigeria to order the police to clamp down on Biafrans and force them out of his way but it met total refusal, speaking to a metropolitan police who spoke to family writers on condition of anonymity, he said. “Yes Biafrans stood on his way, there was no attack or assault, it's a protest and the law allows such. We could not help but show him alternative exit, it was really a touch display, Biafrans are really out for but they must always be law-abiding, we support lawful agitation" the metropolitan police officer said. Every effort to speak to the management of the hotel was futile as they declined to give access to our source in London.
