WHEN HAS SELF-DETERMINATION BECOME TREASONABLE FELONY?

WHEN HAS SELF-DETERMINATION BECOME TREASONABLE FELONY?

For Family Writers

Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra and director of radio Biafra was arrest on the 14th of October 2015 by the Nigeria DSS. President Buhari who ordered the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, slammed him with a dubious and controversial treasonable felony. Buhari who used his power in apocryphal manner to influence the DSS and judiciary to accuse Kanu of inciting terrorism, knew fully well that such allegations are false and biased. We all know that Nnamdi kanu is not guilty of any treasonable felony, that's just a trick by Buhari and his puppets to activate an abuse of power on an innocent fellow.

I can’t remember when the right to self-determination becomes a treasonable felony? But am not surprise to see this charges against Nnamdi kanu because I know Nigeria and her government are not just lawless, abusive of power and very very corrupt but also neglects the importance of democracy and lacks respect for human rights law.

All peoples have the right to self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development.  Essentially, the right to self-determination is the right of a people to determine its own destiny and that is what Nnamdi kanu wants for all Indigenous people of Biafra. So how does that relate to treasonable felony?  Even so the principle of self-determination is prominently embodied in Article I of the Charter of the United Nations. Also the principle and fundamental right to self-determination of all peoples is firmly established in international law.

So as you can imagine when Buhari who is an illiterate start saying self-determination, freedom of speech and expression is a treasonable felony, it justifies why Biafrans can't continue in such a lawless, heartless and barbaric country. Treasonable felony is bailable under the Nigeria law clearly provided under Section 118(2) of the Criminal Procedure Act Cap C41 LFN 2004 and Sections 158 and 163 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 but still yet Buhari refused to allow the Nigeria judiciary to grant Nnamdi Kanu bail and even when they did, he ordered the high court to withdraw such application.

This just shows that Nnamdi Kanu's arrest has nothing to do with breaking the so-called Nigeria law or relating to terrorism but a personal conspiracy by president "Hilter" Buhari to jail and murder an innocent man. Nnamdi kanu is innocent and there is no evidence to support Buhari's claim, even the judge presiding over Nnamdi Kanu case, knows full well that there nothing concrete about the claims levied against Nnamdi kanu by the Nigeria government but he can't set Nnamdi Kanu free because he also is getting his orders from Buhari. Even the DSS threatened Nnamdi kanu by telling him that no court in Nigeria can save him, they further stated that even Britain can't save him.

So tell me where is the justice in Nigeria? Tell me where is the so-called democracy? Tell me where is "innocent before proven guilty"? Nigeria is a lawless country now under the control of a tyrant and a dictator called Muhammadu Buhari, a man who doesn’t believe in democracy and equal right, a man who is corrupt and bloodthirsty, a man who is very deceitful and envious. A man who is not even qualified to run a company talks more of a country, so how do you expect me to believe the very words of this man???
