Nigerian Military Threatens To kill Ijaw Leader If he fails to Provide Avengers

The dreaded Niger Delta Avengers has once again blown up about three different pipelines belonging to Shell Petroleum Development Company(NPDC) and Nigerian Agip Oil Company(NAOC) in Nembe, Bayelsa State.

The Avengers claimed on twitter that they are responsible for the successful attack on the oil and gas pipelines which is located in Nembe, precisely on Trunk Line 1, 2 and 3 connecting from Brass to Bonny, at about 2:15am early Saturday morning.

  "At about 2:15am on Saturday, The Niger Delta Avengers blow up Nembe 1, 2 and 3 Brass to Bonny Trunk Line belonging to Agip and Shell" the Activists stated on their twitter timeline.

  "Something big is about to happen" The Avengers threatened in addition, reiteration their vow to shock the world and cripple the economic activities of Nigeria if their demands are not met.

This recent attack is coming barely 24hrs after the group had blown up NNPC owned oil and gas Trunk Lines located in Warri, Delta State and heavily guarded by Nigerian military.

Meanwhile, in a related development, hundreds of Nigerian military have reported invaded Gbaramatu Kingdom in Bayelsa State of Biafra land in search of Government Tompolo and the members of Niger Delta Avengers. The heavily armed military men besieged Oporoza the traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom at about 2am Saturday morning and started beating up the villagers including the community leader-Chief Atiti Mala, hitting them with their gun butts and ordering them to produce the ex-militant and the Avengers activists. A youth leader who spoke to Vanguard confirmed the incident saying-

"They were asking the helpless villagers to produce former militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo and members of the Niger Delta Avengers."

Also an Ijaw leader, Chief Godspower Gbenekama, confirming the invasion have lambasted the Nigerian military for their attacks and inhuman treatman to the people of Gbaramatu saying-

"They have arrested many persons and villagers have fled into the bush, this is wrong, they are going to worsen issues with what they are doing. I posted on facebook that they invaded Oporoza and a military called me to tell me that they would deal with me"

"If they want to kill me, let them go ahead, but i will continue to say the truth. Why are they harassing my people? They should harass the militants whose activities we condemned" the Ijaw leader stated.
