ISIS-PATTERN : EXECUTION OF BIAFRANS COMMENCES 72HOURS AFTER IGP ORDERED OFFICIAL CLAMPDOWN OF BIAFRANS.

Monday bloody heroes’ day remembrance was yet to die down when the Inspector General of Police ordered that IPOB members should be hunted and severely punished over what he termed “ arm acquisition”. This is coming even as Niger Delta militants (not THE AVENGERS) had claimed responsibility for what happened in Onitsha where Nigerian forces were killed. Arase failed to comprehend or hold militants responsible; instead, he resorted to execution of Unaramed Biafrans in ISIS like pattern.

The Nigerian military had held that more than 30 unarmed IPOB members were shot to death because of a potential break down of law. What was termed as irresponsibility and premeditated ethnic cleansing. There was no cause for alarm or killing unarmed and defenseless people of Biafra who had come to remember their dead. It was further painful that scores were killed upon the grave of many already killed. There is no justification whatsoever to have shot peaceful and lawful people that had gathered to remember their heroes who were killed by the same killers.

Two police men and eight soldiers were said to have been killed on that Remembrance Day and within 24hours, Niger Delta militants claimed responsibility of the attack which exempted the people of Biafra who have generally embraced peace despite unwarranted and sustained provocations. While blood of Biafrans was flowing, the Nigerian military enjoyed and flaunted the corpse of their victims.

Reacting to the said attack on the police, Solomon Arase ordered that IPOB members be clamped down and disarmed, this actually took the world by surprise as Niger Delta militants have claimed responsibility. Instead of clamping down on militants, he chose to clamp down on Biafrans because we are not armed and we are defenseless. Their strength only lies on unarmed and defenseless innocent people of Biafra. While militants roam about freely, destroying pipelines and killing Nigerian forces, Arase could not order their clamp down because he is not trained and can’t execute any major objective.

The combined team of Police, Military, and Navy has responded by moving from house to house in Nkpor, arresting and executing Biafrans in the most gruesome manner. Speaking on the incessant arrest, Nkpor coordinator of IPOB who could not meet Ifeanyi Chijioke but spoke privately on phone confirmed the arrest. “Our people are being arrested, they go from house to house, and we don’t know who gave them information. They pick Biafrans up and take them to the barracks and that is the end” he said.  Reacting to the development, an eye witnessed who escaped arrest gave his own account as thus: “They came in the night without any siren, they jumped my fence and I was lucky to see them, I left from the back yard. It was night so I don’t want to run, I hid in a distance and I could hear them saying, ‘He don run, make use of dagger if you see him’. These people are executing us and we will soon finish” he cried.

When Ifeanyi Chijioke of Family writers spoke to Nkpor residents, they confirmed the strange presence of military men and police. They noted that they do not rest since the event of heroes’ day. “My cousin is missing, he came back from the heroes’ day and the next day, he has gone missing” Mr Azubuike said. Reacting to the development, Nkpor elder statesman who does not want his name in print said “People are missing everyday in this town, there is problem and something must be done” he solicited.

Meanwhile, there is confirmed report that in the Onitsha military barrack, there is a busy movement in their cemetery. People are being buried en-mass and in secret. The source that spoke to Ifeanyi Chijioke of Family writers stated “The corpses are beginning to decompose; they need to get rid of it, burying few in the cemetery and planning to dispose others elsewhere. They are trying to orchestrate violence which would be a reason to impose curfew and then they can carry the corpses to where it can be disposed” the source said.

Finally, the coordinator of IPOB Nkpor has pleaded to international communities and various human right institutions to come to their rescue. He noted that IPOB members are being executed in a strange way, cutting off their heads, their fingers and piercing dagger mercilessly into them. “ They don’t take us to police station or prison anymore, they get us and kill us out-rightly, you can see the pictures and videos, nobody is lying or making up stories” he concluded.
