THE ALTAR OF BUSINESS IN NIGERIA

THE ALTAR OF BUSINESS IN NIGERIA

By Maxwell Chuks

For Family Writers

During my childhood, I was taught that religious leaders are those who teach morals, defend and teach the gospel, leaders who stand by the truth and for justice whenever and wherever they find it. But here in Africa (Mainly Nigeria), the reverse is the case. 85% of churches in Nigeria are business centres where criminals hid under Christianity, while they stand on the altar, to extort and steal from the poor. They twist words, murder truth and justice in order to favour those who'll in return give them brown envelops (money). They don't care about what the people are going through and they don't even want to know the needs of the people(congregation) rather all they care about is how they will diverse means to feed and bolster their personal pockets.

"Criminals in white garments", that's what they are. A so-called man of God who didn't condemn and speak against the killings of peaceful and unarmed protesters who are only asking for their right and freedom, a so-called man of God who turned his back on justice and the unfair treatment of the people. Then after receiving a brown envelope in order to gain favour from the Apostle of wickedness and injustice, he'll come out from nowhere and preach 'One Nigeria' or say the lord told him this and that••bla-bla-bla•• (always negative things concerning the poor masses who are suffering in order to make the Apostles of wickedness and injustice glad)......I pity my people who refuse to recognise the truth.

Even Jesus Christ whom some criminals are hiding under his name didn't rob the people to enrich himself, he stood against injustice everywhere he went to, he didn't vomit poison in order to favour the wicked and corrupt leaders of a evil country. The more you personally learn very well about the scripture, the better for you. In Nigeria today, we all know that many criminals are standing on the altar. The same criminals who keep vomiting rubbish, making you to blindly fall for them, while they rob you continuously.

God is not wicked, he's not a lover of Injustice neither is he an author of confusion. Though there are real men of God out there who stands against injustice and who are not after their personal interest but 85% of the those on the altar are pure business men and they've adopted BiafraLand as their business centres because my people who still live in the dark hour of ignorance patronise them. They'll ignore justice and truth, and preach "one Nigeria" for you when you are at the point of death in a country that clearly hates you and just because they want to share from the national cake, they keep giving false messages. May God be the judge of them all.

I always say this and i will keep on saying it- "If a so-called man of God(Christian leader) doesn't care about the crimes committed against humanity, injustice and equality, then he isn't a christian but a criminal".
