FAMILY WRITERS JOURNALIST NARRATES HOW SECURITY AGENTS BRUTALLY HARASSED HIM, OTHERS IN COURT

FAMILY WRITERS JOURNALIST NARRATES HOW SECURITY AGENTS BRUTALLY HARASSED HIM, OTHERS IN COURT

The 17th November, 2016 which was the last Court appearance of our Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu would remain indelible in my heart. We had terrible experiences from the security operatives present in the court.

The DSS, Police, Civil Defense Corps were all at alert to carry out 'order from above' on Biafrans. They are fully aware we stormed the Federal High Court Abuja in large numbers to cover the proceedings of the bail application filed by IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his co-defendants.  What transpired on that very day was a different ball game compared to the previous court appearances.

Ejike Ofoegbu, a Biafran writer was arrested at the Federal High Court Abuja. He was asked so many questions by the DSS. The intention was to know those sponsoring us, but we told them we sponsored ourselves to court. I was called upon to write my own statement which I did. I was told to write my coordinator's name or sponsor's name, but I told them I had no coordinator nor sponsor. After writing my statement, they took us to their boss but he wasn't seen anywhere.

They brought us back to the room and the civil defence woman asked me if this was my dream? I said yes, that I want Biafra to be in everyone's subconsciousness . She then shook her head.
They all went outside and had a brief meeting, came back and told  us to write an undertaken, that we won't repeat what we did, but we refused and told them that we have done nothing wrong, and we can never renounce Biafra .

Afterwards, they returned our phones to us but held the cameras, and told me to bring the receipt after the court proceedings.

My question to the world is:  are they not seeing all these intimidation we are going through?
These people have turned us to slaves indirectly. The world must stand up against all these injustices that Biafrans are being subjected to in Nigeria, because our patience is running dry.

Free Nnamdi Kanu
Free Biafra.
