Information reaching the desk of Family Writers has confirmed that Moses Agbo, a member of Family Writers Press who went to Kuje Prison, Abuja, on the 25th of December, 2016 to pay a courtesy visit to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Director of Radio Biafra has been kidnapped by the Nigerian DSS in conjunction with the prison warders.
The abduction of Moses Agbo has confirmed and exposed the atrocities melted on some people who go to Kuje Prison to visit Kanu to ascertain his well being. Before the abduction of Moses Agbo, an unidentified DSS who escorted Nnamdi Kanu to court once threatened to kill Moses Agbo simply because he was covering the court proceedings. The DSS whose identity and name was shielded ordered Moses Agbo to stop the coverage but Moses did not adhere to it, rather he went on with his job. The DSS before leaving the court, stated "I WILL DEAL WITH YOU, WATCH OUT".
However, a reliable source at the prison told Family Writers that Moses Agbo visited the prison on 25th December, 2016, but never saw him leave because he returned to his duty post. On this note, we want to draw the attention of the world on the clampdown on Biafrans by the Nigerian DSS who have diverted their attention and interest to those who visit Kanu in prison thereby violating his fundamental human rights.
The abduction of Moses Agbo is provocative and likely to cause tension in Nigeria if he is not freed. We demand the immediate release of Moses Agbo without further delay!!
