Flash back on the 13th of December 2016, when the trial of the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu took a new turn after a Justice Binta Nyako  ruled on an application for secret trial and Masked Witnesses.

January 10, 11 and 12 January was fixed by Justice Binta to commence the trial, but we the Indigenous people of Biafra remain firm as we continue to say "No To Secret Trial And Masked Witnesses". It cannot be allowed to happen. The persecution and condemnation of Nnamdi Kanu by President Muhammadu Buhari and his mob has always been done publicly. The ongoing massacre of Biafrans by the Nigeria Armed forces has always been carried out in broad day light and also publicly. The arrests and intimidation of innocent Biafran protestors has always been done publicly. The curfews imposed by the Nigeria Military in Biafra Land as always be done publicly. So why should Nnamdi Kanu's Trial be carried out in the secret? We won't accept that level of injustice and prejudice.

In the words of Nnamdi Kanu on his propose secret trial by the Federal High Court of Nigeria imposed by Justice Binta:

“This is nonsense. I will give testimony before this court. By the time I finish, there will be no Nigeria. This is no Sharia court. It is a court that operates under the common law."

“There will be no screening of witnesses, no fake identities or fake addresses. I cannot be tried in secret. No! Nnamdi Kanu cannot be jailed in secret. They are mad. Why must I be tried in secrecy by a government that does not obey court orders?"

“They are killing my people in public. After killing my people, they want to try me in private? That person is mad. I won’t allow it."

Over 70million Biafrans under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu also stand United in one voice and declare that : "We won't allow any Secret Trial".

As the International Media outlets, Human Rights International and foreign Observes are expected to make the scene and turnout for the Trial of the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, We the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB) call on all Biafrans in Abuja to halt any business transactions on that day. Let the 10th of January 2017 be declared a public holiday to show solidarity to our leader as all Biafrans across the country are expected to Storm the Federal High Court in protest to the Secret trial and Masked Witnesses approved by President Muhammadu Buhari and carried out by Justice Binta Nyako, in a conspiracy to murder Justice and sentence Nnamdi Kanu to life imprisonment.
