BIAFRA: IT IS A WELDON JOB FOR IPOB'S SUCCESSFUL SIT AT HOME

BIAFRA: IT IS A WELDON JOB FOR IPOB'S SUCCESSFUL SIT AT HOME

The sit at home order by the leadership of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to Biafrans recorded a huge success on May 30th, 2017. Until now, the Nigerian government and the world at large have not recovered from the deep shock caused by the overwhelming compliance to the call for all Biafrans to SIT AT HOME. However, to the chagrin of the world and Nigeria in particular, IPOB took the Bull by the horn by showing the entire world what it means to fight for self governance and what it takes to be a freedom fighter. What happened on 30th May made a serious and systematic impact and have as well reshaped the public opinion on the case of Biafra. It has been applauded by all and sundry as being the best method of expressing the grievances of a people whose collective rights is being stifled or denied  by the powers that be. Many has decribed this doggedness and resilience by IPOB as their secret in holding the Nigerian government at the jugular because they have remained peaceful even in height of provocation.

Be it as it may, IPOB has accomplished what many countries in Africa and offcourse the world at large could not accomplish despite the unabated killings, murder and close to ethnic cleansing of the entire race during peaceful protests, demonstrations and rallies being conducted by IPOB as at when her leader was still under chains of the Nigerian government.

The Sit-At-Home order by  the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the director of Radio Biafra and Biafra Television worldwide was aimed at remembering and honoring all the Biafra fallen heroes and heroines killed between 1967 and 1970 when Nigeria and British governments committed genocide on Biafrans of which most of the victims were women and children even those massacred in the struggle for the restoration of Biafra by the Nigerian murderous security forces during rallies, protests and demonstrations will also be remembered.  It was really a huge success as the whole of Biafra land completely complied to the order by sitting at their various home, forsaking their businesses and other economic and social activities.

Furthermore, all the ever busy roads and public places visited by Family Writers correspondents on ground such as Markets, Banks, Companies, Industries, Motor parks, Schools etc; especially the private owned establishments were all shut down as no one could be spoted around most of these places. Ogbete main market and New market were among the  markets in the city of Enugwu state Biafra land that was completely shut down and not even a trader was found either buying or selling in the markets which harbours over two million persons who normally came from within and outside the state for their business activities. Meanwhile, few vichles could be found on the major roads especially the police patrol vans loaded with heavily armed  officers looking for who to devour with the disguise of safeguarding the polity but offcourse were disappointed because no one was on the road.

However, with this overwhelming compliance occationed by effective coorperation of Biafrans on this Sit At Home, the restoration of Biafra is at the top gear and I wonder between Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the entire South-East governors, who is the true leader of the people? There is no doubt from all indication that Nnamdi Kanu is the one, having united the people of Biafra to the point that they can forsake their businesses for the sake of freedom.

Finally, this high level of oneness and  spirit displayed by the people of Biafra is a sure bait that Biafra will be restored in all honesty and truth. Therefore, our collective detractors should cover their faces in shame.
Once again, Bravo to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and weldon job to all the Indigenous People of Biafra both in Biafra Land and other parts of the world.
