BIAFRANS IN NORTHERN NIGERIA SHOULD COME BACK HOME; THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

BIAFRANS IN NORTHERN NIGERIA SHOULD COME BACK HOME: THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Following the recent quit notice issued to Biafrans resident in the Northern part of Nigeria by the Arewa youth forum, ably supported by their elder's forum which they tagged "Kaduna declaration", there has been serious disquietness in the corridors of power in Aso Rock and other facets of the Nigerian state. The Arewa youth forum declared that Igbos(Biafrans) should vacate their land and return back to Biafra land, and that ultimatum took immediate effect to end in October 1st, 2017. This ultimatum came barely some weeks after the successful Sit At Home directives by Nnamdi Kanu. The Hausa Fulani are known for their barbaric activities against those that are not from the Northern enclave. They mischievously created and sponsored Boko Haram terrorists that killed thousands of innocent citizens through their deadly jihad and wanton destruction of properties worth millions in different parts of Northern Nigeria. Biafrans who are predominantly Christians suffered immeasurably up North in the hands of the sons of Danfodio the evil jihadist, who waged a cold war either to creat an Islamic caliphate in the North or to destabilize the government of the then Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan. Today Nigerians and indeed Biafrans are faced with another semblance or reincarnation of Boko Haram in disguise called "Arewa youth forum".

Be that as it may, Biafrans resident in Northern Nigeria should disregard this threat from the illiterate Arewa youth at their peril. Make no mistake about it, this is not mere threat because following the antecedents of Arewa youth, every sane Biafrans should be heading down east. This is a hatched plan by Hausa Fulani to unleash mayhem on Biafrans. It is at this juncture that I urge all Biafrans to leave Arewa land and return to Biafra land. It's no news in Nigeria, on the immoral and disgraceful activities of those marauding Hausa Fulanis against Biafrans, the killing of Mrs Bridget Agbahime on 2nd June 2016, in Kano, the Apo six that was killed in the capital city of Nigeria, Abuja on 7th June, 2015 and they includes Ifeanyi Ozo, Chinedu Meniru, Isaac Ekene, Paulinus Ogbonna, Anthony Nwokike and Augustina Arebun, till date nothing tangible has been done.  Have we also forgotten Arinze Chikwelu who was stabbed on 23rd September, 2015 in the North and the strategic killing of Biafrans since the evil amalgamation of the contraption called Nigeria in 1914? Biafrans have always been at the receiving end of all these barbarism orchestrated and meted on them by the Arewa nation. Their raping activities has also continued unabated, even until now no one has been arrested and prosecuted.

However, the disdainful attitude of Arewa youth on Biafrans can not be overemphasized hence the urgent need for Biafrans to repatriate back home. It is an indisputable truth that Biafrans have investments up North hence the need to get proper documentation of their properties in that there are international laws that protects all properties when eventually there is a breakup of countries or emergence of a new nation.

With one voice let's recite and reflect on a poem by John Howard Payne,

"The Beauty Of Home"

"Mid pleasure and places though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home,
A charm from the sky seems to hallow us there, which seek through the world is never met with elsewhere.
Home, home, sweet, sweet home!
There's no place like home, oh, there's no place like home!

An exile from home, splendour dazzles in vain,
Oh, give me my lowly thatched cottage again!
The birds singing gaily, that come at my call,
Give me them and the peace of mind, dearer than all!
Home, home, sweet, sweet home!
There's no place like home, oh, there's no place like home!

I gaze on the moon as I tread drear wild,
And feel that my mother now thinks of her child,
As she looks on that moon from our own cottage door,
Thro' the woodbine, whose fragrance shall cheer me no more.
Home, home, sweet, sweet home!
There's no place like home, oh, there's no place like home!"

How sweet 'tis to sit 'neath a fond father's smile,
And the cares of a mother to soothe and beguile!
Let others delight mid new pleasure to roam,
But give me, oh, give me the pleasure of home. Home, home, sweet, sweet home! There's no place like home, oh, there's no place like home!

To thee I'll return, overburdened with care,
The heart's dearest solace will smile on me there,
No more from that cottage again will I roam,
Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home!
Home, home, sweet, sweet home!
There's no place like home, oh, there's no place like home!

Biafrans let's come home and reunite and build our home, the land of the rising sun.

  1. Igbos and all Biafrans living in the north must leave now and return to the East. The SE/SS governors, senators, and rulers in all levels must work together to help our people successfully leave the Islamic sharia north before they start butchering our people like the 1960's. Biafra will contain everyone and within 5 to 10 years, Biafra will be fantastic nation. There’ll be plenty high paying jobs for all our graduates, there’ll be no unemployment, there will massive businesses everywhere. Africa and in fact the world will come to Biafra land to do business. Apart from the 8 crude oil producing States in Biafra, crude oil will not be our main source of revenue. It’ll be our creativity and innovation. So, please come back home. All Hail Biafra!
