Following the recent events embarked on by the leadership of IPOB worldwide, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, there has been jubilation amongst the Biafran people. This can be narrowed to his visit to Ebonyi State few days ago. The good people of Ebonyi State were overwhelmed with the multitude of Biafrans from different works of life that thronged the polity with messages of liberty and songs of freedom. To many, the Biafra evangelism extended to the people of Ebonyi State by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was the beginning of the liberation of Biafrans from that axis.

The supreme leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, director of Biafra Televsion and Radio Biafra made strong statements that shaked the fraudulent foundations with which Nigeria was built, in Ebonyi State. The great leader of IPOB, enumerated the natural resources that were divinely deposited in the land of Ebonyi but were abandoned due to negligence and such huge deposited natural resources made the state the most blessed land in the whole of  Biafraland.

However, prior to his visit to the state, I  Ogeh Friday Igiri, reported that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu when reacting to the purported message from the incumbent governor of Ebonyi State Engr. David Nwaeze Umahi, asking him not to visit the state on the bases that Ebonyi State is not part of Biafra, sent a strong message telling the governor that he( Nnamdi Kanu) will come to Ebonyi State to preach the gospel of Biafra restoration to the good people of the state, reiterating that Ebonyi state is part and parcel of Biafra territory including their brethren from lower Benue. Though he came to the state with a good number of Biafrans, he defiled all the military forces that were stationed at every corner of the state fully armed to the teeth in order to obstruct his movement and make him not to enter the city. But before proceeding to the venue of the epoch event, he stopped over at the Ysraeli Assembly Synagogue, Ezzamgbo in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi State where he fervently prayed with Biafrans for the quick and complete restoration of Biafra.

Thereafter, he passed through the state capital, down to government house and finally to the state mechanical site, where he preached the gospel. While addressing millions of Biafrans who gathered at the venue, Kanu said, "Ebonyi is a land of Biafra, anybody who says that Ebonyi is not part of Biafra, is born of Hausa/Fulani. Ebonyi is important to our Father( God) and that is why He ask us to come. Ebonyi is a special state in Biafraland because it is richly blessed more than every other states", even as he went further to outlist the natural resources in the state and even those ones that many people never heard of, which includes, gold, granites, black ceramics, white ceramics, crude oil amongst others. He also said that he will bring back other Biafrans resident in lower Benue into the proposed Biafra nation, promising never to leave any part of Biafran territory with Nigeria. He also urged IPOB youths in the state to be more strong and resolute. He promised to come back to the state with the evangelism for Biafra restoration which he said will shut down the state for complete three days. He urged the people not to vote again in any subsequent Nigerian elections as Ebonyi State is part of Biafra and must observe the election boycott directives by IPOB.

With heart full of joy, the good people of the state who were in large numbers pledged their unflinching support to the Biafra struggle and unalloyed loyalty to his leadership, promising to put every necessary efforts in making sure that Biafra is restored under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. While Nnamdi Kanu  left the state, the Biafran youths chanted and sang Biafra victory songs as they match happily back to their various destinations peacefully.
