BIAFRA: COURT GRANTS COSMOS GEORGE BAIL AS DSS SCAMPERS

Ibeh Gift Amarachi reporting for Family Writers

The Rivers State High Court, Port Harcourt Judicial Division, has granted bail to Cosmos Otobong George, an Akwa-Ibom Biafran activist and renowned Author, who was abducted at the early hours of 22nd January 2017 by the Department Of State Security (DSS) and charged for:
(1) Levying War On And Cause The Disintegration Of Nigeria.

Justice Enebeli, the presiding Judge, upon reading the affidavit and there be no counter affidavit from the Respondent, despite the services of the Court processes on them, by IPOB legal team, granted the accused bail.

Cosmos George is a pre-eminent Writer, who has exposed several preposterous atrocities meted against the Biafran people through his persuasive writings and books to various Human Right Organizations, which include; "Let Them Go".
The exertions and assiduity of this vibrant Akwa-Ibom born Biafran activist triggered his unlawful abduction and severe punishment by the DSS, who kept him incommunicado for 31days in handcuffs that resulted to a very obvious irritating injury, round his wrist.

The Magistrate Court of Rivers State, has previously denied him bail, as the presiding Magistrate ruled,  that the Court lacks the jurisdiction to grant him bail, hence the need for a Bail Application filed to the High Court Of Rivers State, by IPOB legal team set up by the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Citizen Nnamdi Kanu and headed by Ibeh Gift Amarachi.

Cosmos Otobong George was released from Port Harcourt Maximum Prisons, following the perfection of his Bail terms, by the Indigenous People Of Biafra, led by Citizen Nnamdi Kanu.
This triggered great excitement from families and friends of the victim and mind blowing appreciation to the Indigenous People Of Biafra and her leader Citizen Nnamdi Kanu, over the solicitous attention, given for his release and he has also pledged to fight on, until Biafra is restored.
