DAY 2 OF FAMILY WRITERS PRESS DAILY COUNTDOWN TO ANAMBRA ELECTION BOYCOTT BY BIAFRANS ON NOVEMBER 18

DAY 2 OF FAMILY WRITERS PRESS DAILY COUNTDOWN TO ANAMBRA ELECTION BOYCOTT BY BIAFRANS ON NOVEMBER 18

16 DAYS TO GO - POLITICAL SIGNIFICANCE IN FOCUS
On this second day episode of countdown to Anambra State election boycott, exactly 16 days to go to the epic event which will take place on November 18, 2017, Family Writers Press current affairs desk will focus on the political significance of the election boycott. The political significance of the boycott in Anambra in particular and every other place in Biafra land, is that Biafrans of this generation are bringing back the lost political sovereignty of Biafra land as at 1904 when the British Colonial Southern Protectorate was created which marked the conquest of Biafran territories and later the amalgamation of Southern and much older Northern Protectorates in 1914.

The land of Biafra started being a political entity from 1472 with Confederacies of Cities, Towns, Communities and Villages ruled by Kings, Chiefs and their Cabinets. Although, many Biafran researchers have mistakenly thought that because Pa Frank Opigo of blessed memory who suggested the lost national identity of Biafrans in 1967 Eastern Consultative Assembly, where resolution was made for the restoration of Biafra under Gen Emeka Ojukwu, was the origin of Biafran nomenclature. No! But it is contained in history that Biafra existed as a nation from 1472 till 1898 when the national political structures were completely destroyed by the British Colonial merchants. The only debris of Biafran nomenclature left behind after the British conquest of the people was the attachment of the National name of Biafra to the then Baptist Churches which remained and known as "BAPTIST CHURCH OF BIAFRA" in Calabar, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Owerri, Umuahia, Ogoja, etc till 1954 when National leadership of the church changed it to "BAPTIST CHURCH OF EASTERN NIGERIA" because Eastern Nigeria had by 1957 practically deleted Biafra as the national name of the territory. Another debris of the nomenclature of Biafra was a bay close to Bonny Island known as BIGHT of BIAFRA which retained the nomenclature until 1971 when Gen Yakubu Gowon changed the name of the bay to BIGHT OF BONNY in order to consolidate the total annihilation of Biafra from the face of the earth. With this, we can understand that Pa Frank Opigo is not the origin of the name of Biafra as some young Biafran writers wrote recently.

In those days from 1472 to 1898, we had Arochukwu Confederacy, Opobo Confederacy, Calabar Confederacy, Ogoja Confederacy and many others. These confederacies managed political landscape of Biafra land amidst economic, political and social peace, tranquility, security and inter-confer federacy relations until the British colonial invaders forcefully invaded and destroyed our political structure between 1898 and 1904.

As Biafrans are going to unanimously boycott Anambra State governorship election come November 18, Family Writers Press is making Biafrans in Anambra to know that the power to restore our lost political sovereignty is solely in our hands and no more in the hands of our enemies. If Biafrans go out to vote in Anambra election, then the people want the alien occupational government of Nigeria established by Britain and handed over to the feudal lords of Fulani Northern Nigeria to continue to oppress our people. But if Biafrans unanimously stay indoors on November 18 in Anambra State, Biafrans have collectively rejected the alien occupational government of British Nigeria with its feudalistic political system full of bloodshed but want to restore the political sovereignty and system of ancient Biafra nation. In ancient Biafra nation during the period of the confederacies from 1472 to 1888, Biafrans do not choose leaders by political brigandage, thuggery, barrels of gun and bloodshed as established by Britain but the ancestors of the people and gods of their land choose who become the Kings, High priest, Chiefs, Cabinet members and other ministers of the Confederacies and Kingdoms in Biafra land. If in those days you go to Confederacies and Kingdoms within Ijaw, Igbo, Efik, Ibibio, Annang, Urhobo, Ogoni, Ogoja, Ejegham, Idoma, Igala and many others, they all operated this one method of theocratic political system void of feudalism.

Family Writers Press wishes to use this episode of the countdown, to urge Biafrans to stand their ground and reject Anambra election by staying indoors come November 18 so that Biafrans will take back their political sovereignty as Biafra referendum will set in after the unprecedented election boycott about to take place in Anambra State. Family Writers Press may not say more than this analysis in the episode. Keep a date with Family Writers tomorrow for another episode.
