IGBO SUMMIT: JOHN NNIA NWODO DESERVES BANISHMENT FOR KILLING BIAFRANS

IGBO SUMMIT: JOHN NNIA NWODO DESERVES BANISHMENT FOR KILLING BIAFRANS

Prior to the advent of Western civilization, all evil doers of Igbos who got involved in heinous crimes or evil complicity wittingly or unwittingly, instantly got banished from their communities. Such individuals were accordingly and disdainfully dressed with fresh palm leaves ("Omu Nkwu"), hung round their necks depicting such fellows before the public, as anathemaic. Historically, Igbo culture completely abhors the inkling of jungle justice and spillage of human blood. Therefore, the legitimate recompense for such grades of criminality called "Aru" (taboo) in the land, was to hang "Omu Nkwu" (palm leaves) round offender's neck and instantly get him/her banished out of the community.

Bizarre events that played out precisely between 10th and 14th of September 2017, as orchestrated by Nnia Nwodo through the deployment of Fulani infested Nigerian army as ordered by the federal government is sufficiently a point of reference. The soldiers were heavily drafted into Igboland in Biafra with the only mandate of wasting the lives of Biafran youths in Aba, Umuahia, Isiala-Ngwa and Obigbo. They also captured Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide and his parents. And up till date, have either been killed or kept incommunicado, under the euphemism of Operation Python Dance II. This act of sabotage committed by Nnia Nwodo is a taboo that automatically makes him banishable. Despite this murderous complicity, Nnia Nwodo still exude the temerity of freely gallivanting across Igboland, and steadily carrying out acts gravely inimical to the future of the teaming Biafran youths, with his agenda of organizing Fulani sponsored Summit. Since when has the noble land of the Igbos in Biafraland become an enclave of atrocities freely committed and the people seem to appear hopelessly hoodwinked? John Nnia Nwodo has so terribly desecrated the land with the spillage of the blood of the innocent and deserves total banishment. He must not be allowed the luxury of organizing a jaundiced and self-serving summit anywhere in the Biafraland.

It is basically on this premise that the Biafran youths of Igbo extraction, unmistakably call on  the revered traditional institution in the entire Igbo speaking parts of Biafra, to courageously wade into the matter, stop and pre-emptly banish Nnia Nwodo before the youths employ their own methodology which of course will be catastrophic. The first class Kings should congregate without further delay and graciously intervene before this impending youth revolution  by banishing Nnia Nwodo as an appeasement. This brewing storm must have to be proactively contained to avert regrets.

This responsibility lies squarely in the hands of the following Kings, viz:

(1) His Royal Highness Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe (Obi of Onitsha).

(2) His Royal Highness Professor Chike Edoziem (Asagba of Asaba)

(3) His Royal Highness King Jaja (Amayanabo of Opobo)

(4) His Royal Highness Eze Isaac Ikonne (Enyi of Aba)

(5) His Royal Highness Igwe Nnaji (Igwe of Nike, Enugu)

(6) His Royal Highness Igwe Dr. Kenneth Orizu III (Igwe of Nnewi)

(7) His Royal Highness Professor Chukwuma Okonjo (Obi of Ogwashi-uku)

(8) His Royal Majesty Eze Cletus Iromuanya (Eze of Nri), amongst others.

If the above listed Kings of in Biafraland, who undoubtedly, are the custodians of Igbo cultures and precepts, fail to live up to their billings by comprehensively exerting their actions as required despite possible financial inducements, then they should be prepared for the unprecedented consequences of the rage of the youths. John Nnia Nwodo cannot mastermind the killing of Biafran youths in their ancestral land and expect freedom and peace, after making mockery of the sacrifices of the slain. He can never be allowed to organize and host such a summit.

Importantly also, the relatives and close associates of John Nnia Nwodo should advise him to outrightly cancel the idea of having the proposed Restructuring Summit hosted in Awka - Anambra state. The youths must very certainly invade the venue of that summit, come Monday 21st May 2018, with all needed to effect compliance, should the organisers defiantly go ahead with their intent. John Nnia Nwodo has crossed the rubicon and he should be prepared for the consequences.

A word should suffice for the wise!
