GENERAL STRIKE ACTION: IGBO YOUTH VANGUARD ADVOCATES TOTAL LOCKDOWN AGAINST OPERATION PYTHON DANCE III
As plans to launch another despotic onslaught on Biafraland codenamed Operation Python Dance III by the occupational government of Nigeria, the Igbo Youth Vanguard (IYV), has urged the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to declare a total shutdown of activities in the entire Southeast in response. It should be noted that the Nigerian army acting on the directives of the presidency, is hellbent in staging the third edition of it's annual killing expedition of Igbo Biafran youths in Biafraland. The Hausa-Fulani, Boko Haram infested Nigerian army under the command of a Fulani, Lieutenant-General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, is happily prepared and trigger ready to descend with their jihadistic venom on the innocent, peaceful and unarmed Biafran youths, with the primary purpose of carrying out to the letter, the sinister agenda of Islamisation against the people. The Igbo Youth Vanguard condemns in most strongest terms, the rationale behind the annual killing of Igbo youths. According to the Youth Organization, all stakeholders of Igbo extraction particularly in the Southeast, have unanimously rejected another round of military exercise in the region under whatever guise. They questioned the authority behind the approval and endorcement in which the Nigerian government is consummating and deploying armed troops for another round of Operation Python Dance, after the gruesome killings and destructions of lives and properties in 2017.
Officers/members of the Igbo Youth Vanguard rising from their emergency general meeting convened in Abia Hotels, Owerri road in Aba, insisted that they will no more tolerant or condone any form of Operation Python Dance in Igboland. In a communiqué made available to newsmen after the meeting which was obtained by Family Writers Press correspondent, the President-General of the Youth Organization, Barrister Jideofor Ezewuzie, explicitly called on the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally, to initiate a total shutdown of activities in the entire Igboland if the Islamic government of Nigeria defiantly disrespects the feelings of the people against the evil military exercise. The communiqué further stated that the Nigerian government has absolutely no regard for the Igbos going by it's relentless devilish policies against the people of the Southeast.
When contacted by Family Writers Press, the Secretary-General of the Igbo Youth Vanguard, Engineer Ochiuwa Okoronkwo said "whereas Igbo Youth Vanguard could condone the nepotistic policies of the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari steadily being skewed against the Igbos, we will not fold our hands and watch the oppressors bring another killing expedition to our land. Igbo Youths Vanguard is solidly behind the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and therefore demand that IPOB should shutdown the entire Southeast right from day one, should the planned Operation Python Dance III be eventually launched. The total shutdown can only be called off after the economic activities in the region are paralyzed to the hurt the interest of the Nigerian government". He stated that "enough is enough in the senseless killing of our people even in our land".
