DROP YOUR GUNS IF YOU THINK NIGERIA IS WORKING

DROP YOUR GUNS IF YOU THINK NIGERIA IS WORKING

The Nigerian government will most definitely come to terms with the position of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, on the democratic and legitimate reasons of acceding to the disintegration of the country. This will further confound and defeat their position through the superior arguments of the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu hence their callous victimization and killing of agitators. The power of boots, guns and bullets as recorded in Nigeria over time was aggravated as the inherent strength and force in which the so-called unity of Nigeria hinges. Many attempts to pointedly correct this anomaly in the country have surreptitiously been bastardized by the despotic employment and usage of force against innocent civilians whose questions and demands remain unattended to.

Bullets and guns have become the veritable means of negotiation for the anticipated unity and cooperation criminally introduced by the colonialists who reasoned that the only way to exploit Biafrans, was to amalgamate them with others whose values are completely different, without their consent. Various indigenous communities and peoples were forcefully merged, thereby creating generational problems that have seemingly defied solutions. Attempted questions aimed at remedying discovered anomalies attract victimization, rains of bullets and shedding of blood. This is proudly carried out against the people to the shame of the oppressors, who are bent on servicing the selfish interests of their colonial overlords. Guns and bullets are purposefully made for war and not in resolving civilian harmless opinions, intelligent arguments, expressions and legitimate peaceful protests.

Nigeria as an entity, should however be able to eulogise the white men in their wisdom of manufacturing guns and bullets amongst other weapons which were born out of intelligent research works and discovery. There is hardly any part of Nigeria that is free of armored tanks, war aircrafts, militarised road blocks, mobile military personnel and barracks, saddled with the responsibility of quelling agitations. Those in authority maintain that despite the glaring spate of dissatisfaction and oppression in the country at whatever section, Nigeria unity remains non-negotiable. This is ridiculously fascistic.

It is irrefutably correct to say that when hatred sets in against a people within an entity, separation becomes  essentially inevitable. Such state orchestrated treatment evokes the people's disillusionment and anger. The relentless serial killings of Biafrans by the Fulanis coupled with damning marginalization over the years, have grossly precipitated the renegotiation of the existence of this British enterprise called Nigeria. The People's General, late Odimegwu Ojukwu in his wisdom, reached an agreement with the then Nigerian government led by Yakubu Gowon in Aburi, Ghana, after the gruesome assassination of late General Aguiyi Ironsi whose elimination was plotted by the greedy and self-serving, vampiric Fulani Islamic fundamentalists in concert with the British government who stood opposed  albeit covertly, to the Biafran emergence their perceived benefits. The only option it was reasoned, was for Yakubu Gowon to employ the fascist approach of terror against the Biafran people. Many Biafrans including children, women and men were gruesomely murdered but was it really a successful adventure?

God has in His wisdom, really purposed and destined that Biafrans will certainly live and that was why despite Nigerian foreign allies and mercenaries, the enemies were unable to overrun and occupy Biafran territories which they desperately tagged as conquered. Guns, bullets and other weapons of suppression can only thrive to sustain what man created but thanks be to God Almighty that His thoughts are in sharp contrast to that of mere mortals otherwise, the instrumentality of guns and bullets would have granted them their desire. These are instruments of despotism, subjugation, enslavement and death. It is only in a fascist enclave, that these instruments of destruction are employed to maintain peace, the associated cum indescribable psychological anguish and pains on the people, notwithstanding.

Prior to the despicable execution of Kenule Saro Wiwa and the Ogoni nine, guns, bullets and other annihilative weapons were deployed and stationed all over Ogoniland by the federal military dictatorial rulership of Sani Abacha, boxing the entire Ogoni ethnic nationality into excruciating agony and subservience. Different families especially the bereaved, were made to feel the pangs of the death of their loved ones for years. It is only in the African continent that this chain of maladious enterprise could receive patronage.

The Hausa-Fulani with the help of their British slavemasters, orchestrated the evil 1999 Constitution which, eversince it came on stream, has been shamelessly sustained through the instrumentality of guns and bullets. From every indication, this forced/coerced Nigerian unity seems to be thriving even on the blood of the innocent, so long crude oil is steadily being sapped from Biafraland to the North where power resides. But how long this dictatorial enterprise will last, remains to be seen.

The Nigerian government have steadily been deploying the army, police, civil defense corps and officers of the department of security services (DSS) armed to the teeth, to Umuahia, the Abia State capital, Owerri - Imo State and Igweocha (Port Harcourt), Rivers State respectively, thereby blatantly living up to it's billing as a tyrannical regime. The question then is: what threatening security issues are spotted in these places?  This act of state-sponsored aggression against the people, stems from the rumours that IPOB plans to carry out massive peaceful protests. It is only in a place like Nigeria that soldiers are deployed into the streets to quell civilian peaceful protests instead of being confined in their barracks, in the absence of external aggression threatening her sovereignty. In civilised societies, guns and bullets do not serve as alternatives rather, thorny issues are democratically being resolved via round table discussions.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has within a space of three years, lost over two thousand souls to the annihilative power of guns and bullets from the Nigerian government and yet the momentum for peaceful but uncompromising restoration of the sovereign nation of Biafra keeps growing. Udi massacre recently clocked sixteen years. It is yet globally acclaimed and a lesson worth learning that there remains more civilized and acceptable options of resolving disputes rather than this crude resort to guns and bullets as it's being presently practised in Nigeria even in this 21st century.
