NO REFERENDUM, NO ELECTION IN BIAFRALAND
PREAMBLE:
Here is a resolution reached on Sunday 3rd February 2019 by the Coordinators and Representatives of Biafran Students in Abia State Polytechnic in Aba, Biafraland. That included various institutions of higher learning and their Students Union Executives from across various fields of discipline. It was resolved that on Saturday 16th February 2019, being Nigeria's fixed date for presidential election, we, the students in our numbers, shall Sit-At-Home, to fully participate in the upcoming BIAFRA REFERENDUM fixed for the same date. This means total BOYCOTT of the fraudulent (s)election, already rigged elections in the expired contraption called Nigeria.
INTRODUCTION:
Fellow Biafrans and Lovers of Freedom, Resolute and Formidable Biafran Students all over the world, greetings in the name of the Most High God (Chukwuokike Abiama)! Today, even as we take a look at the past perilous years in which our people (fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters) have consistently been subjugated, enslaved, tortured and massacred even helplessly at our very own doorsteps, we have indeed found courage, strength and determination in this our very unique and dependable FAMILY, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). A very strong platform on which we stand to positively surge onwards towards realising our collective goals and aspirations, which is the unfettered RESTORATION OF BIAFRA, our fatherland. We very specifically, thank the IPOB supreme leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and leaders of different organs of this highly enlightened global movement, for their absolute commitment and unshakable stance to the cause for which we the Biafran youths, students and people, have daily been sacrificing unreservedly, a divine cause for which we all have been dispossessed, blocked, bombarded, starved, impoverished, tortured, killed and gruesomely massacred. We salute the courage of all hardcore Biafrans for their tenacity of purpose and amazing steadfastness in the face of these damning siege, unholy and forced amalgamation. We will not forget our heroes and heroines who made the ultimate sacrifices that we may live and have the restoration of the kingdom of Chukwuokike Abiama (God Almighty), on the surface of this planet earth. To them and our upcoming generations, we owe everything. BIAFRA, we must surely restore.
ALUTA!
It is essentially imperative at this juncture, to fully notify the global community and Biafran students particularly, that we are out to get BIAFRA and that we must certainly realize. The Nigerian State is designed to inflict unimaginable pains to indigenous populations within the geographical expression. The operational educational system has abysmally declined with no remedy. It is sadly unassailable. There is virtually no conducive learning environment, adequate infrastructure and various equipment for enhancement of practical courses in our respective institutions across Biafraland particularly. Nepotism and favoritism mingled with hydra-headed corruption are exclusively targeted against Biafrans. The existence of evil, retrogressive federal quota system was introduced to favor the so-called disadvantaged person from Sokoto State to successfully gain admission into a university with a very poor score of 8 rather than someone from Imo State for instance, with a score of 180 and above. The unabated and shameful industrial actions (strikes) embarked on by lecturers of our universities and polytechnics for better remunerations all these years, clearly show that Nigeria and her governments have absolutely no plans that will better the academic future of young minds like us. A popular saying has it that: "The pen is mightier than the sword". Rather, they have handed out swords to us to bring down ourselves. They take their children overseas for studies and keep deceiving us with "You are the leaders of tomorrow" mantra. For Biafran students, it is only normal that after graduation, we take to buying and selling of goods and services and driving commercial tricycles popularly known as "Keke Na Pepe" with buses on our streets and roads, to fend for our future. There have been persistent molestations, illegal arrests, incarcerations and killings of our fellow students, youths and children by the Nigerian security forces for legitimately, harmlessly and peacefully marching on the streets, demanding their rights to self-determination as vividly stipulated in the Nigerian military drafted fraudulent 1999 Constitution as amended. This was streamlined via the United Nations' and African Union's charters on self-determination by discontent indigenous populations globally. This relentless assault and mass genocidal onslaught targeted against Biafran students are to say the least, despicably unbearable.
OUR RESOLUTION:
The power of the youths and students in any given society, can never be over-emphasized. Recently, in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, marched in their thousands, defiantly demanding that their government reform traffic regulations as a result of two secondary school students that got knocked down by a drunken driver. Even the remarkable 2014 Hong Kong class boycott campaign, also known as 922 class boycott, is another classic instance of the capability of students. There is a looming revolution in Nigeria and very soon it will explode. We, the Biafran students have awakened to our responsibilities. When dictatorship rules the day, revolution becomes inevitable. In Nigeria, students are being helplessly subjected to all manner of suffering, degradation and abandonment. Biafran Students Coordinators and Representatives have met, sat on a round table exhaustive discussions on Sunday 3rd February 2019 at Abia State Polytechnics, Aba in Biafraland, and pointedly posited the following questions, viz:
(1) Which of the elders or fathers in Biafraland, formed part of the drafting of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution?
(2) What can we as Biafran Students, clearly point at as our gains since our years of involvement in voting in Nigeria organized elections?
(3) Why is there lopsidedness in the so-called quota system in Nigeria's educational system?
(4) Why the relentless victimization and killing of our parents, brothers and sisters against clearly stipulated laws backing self-determination if truly there is no institionalized bias targeted at Biafrans in Nigeria?
(5) Is it not better living as peaceful neighbors (different independent nations) rather than this unabated wave of killings and slavery?
Biafran Students, it is clear that the answers to the above, only point to the fact that an independent Biafra is our hope.
Majority of the total registered voters in Nigeria, it should be noted, are students amounting to over 22.3 million voters. Great number of these voters are Biafran students scattered all over Northern and Western parts of Nigeria. We are hereby duly informing all Biafran students via this medium, no matter your locations, to totally observe the Sit-At-Home order as given by the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally, for Biafra Referendum on Saturday 16th February, 2019. This exercise happens to be the first of it's kind to be organized in respect of our FREEDOM and INDEPENDENCE as a people. We are boycotting the Nigerian government organized presidential election billed for the same date. We are tired of repeatedly making the same mistake by voting to legitimize our misery and slavery. We therefore request that the paper works of our referendum be accented to by a legitimate governmental official and not the Sudanese impostor in Aso Rock and officially announced on or before the 16th day of February 2019. Otherwise, all Biafran students and their Personal Voters Cards (PVC) shall Sit-At-Home and clinically BOYCOTT the presidential elections.
CONCLUSION:
All Biafran students especially those outside Biafraland, should pay close attention to the instructions of the IPOB and Sit At Home and be counted, come Saturday 16th February 2019, for BIAFRA REFERENDUM. It is only an INDEPENDENT BIAFRA that will give you gainful employment after graduation in line with your respective discipline. It is only in BIAFRA that lecturers in various institutions will never embark on industrial action over inadequate funding. It is only in BIAFRA that quota system of education will know no existence. Finally, it is only in the SOVEREIGN NATION OF BIAFRA that the CONTINENT of AFRICA shall rise once again!
May Chukwuokike Abiama (God Almighty), bless us all and make our BIAFRA REFERENDUM exercise, a monumental success, Ise! Ise!! Ise!!!
