IPOB INAUGURATES FAMILY ZONE 1, IN AFIKPO NORTH LGA, EBONYI PROVINCE

IPOB INAUGURATES FAMILY ZONE 1, IN AFIKPO NORTH LGA, EBONYI PROVINCE

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Ebonyi chapter, against security threats, amongst others, courageously and successfully got family zone 1 inaugurated in Afikpo North local government area of Ebonyi Province. This took place on Friday 22nd March, 2019.

The historical inauguration was headed by the Ebonyi State Coordinator, Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya and his Executives. In his opening speech, Mazi Ogbonnaya called on the people of Afikpo-North, to arise from their slumber and embrace the Biafra restoration struggle, as being championed by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. He encouraged IPOB Afikpo family, to seriously work for the massive conversion of more members into the fold. He stated that he would want to see great number of Biafran converts during his next visit to the zone.

The coordinator of the newly inaugurated zone, Mazi Uche Agha Uche, following the administration of oath of allegiance, expressed joy for the recorded progress of Afikpo North family zone and promised to keep to the principles of IPOB, the challenges notwithstanding. He used the opportunity to decry the alarming invasion of the ancestral lands of Uwana, Nkpoghoro and Ndibe by the marauding Fulani killer herdsmen. Mazi Uche also frowned at the mosque and Islamic schools located in Afikpo, urging the indigenes to massively support Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in the Biafra restoration struggle or risk being forcefully converted to Islam and permanent slaves even in their own land.

In closing, he thanked the IPOB Ebonyi State Executives, IPOB family members, friends and well wishers who invested their time and resources in making the inauguration, a success. He prayed for abundant blessings of the Almighty God upon all.
