IPOB OGINIGBA ZONAL MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING HELD ON SATURDAY 8TH JUNE 2019

IPOB OGINIGBA ZONAL MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING HELD ON SATURDAY 8TH JUNE 2019

Following the initial opening speech delivered by Mazi Onyedikachi Bright Uba, the  Zonal Coordinator of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in Oginigba, Igweocha (Port Harcourt), Biafraland, was an address presented by a hardcore Biafran veteran, Mazi Udechukwu Uwakwem Simeon, titled: "DISCIPLINE AND RESPECT TO CONSTITUTED AUTHORITY". He defined "Discipline" as one's behavioral pattern or attitude while "Constituted Authority" means agreed way of doing things in obedience to leadership. Discipline is a spirit that is resident in human beings, giving appropriate guidance to diverse issues of concern. While indiscipline stands opposed to any given law, discipline in other words, remains a veritable tool that engenders decency, progress and orderliness in any given society, group or organization. Referencing the Bible book of Job 36:10, veteran Udechukwu gave emphasis on God's concern in opening the ears of His people to the instructions of discipline (obedience) to stipulated/just rules and regulations. He created us all to imbibe discipline in all spheres of life. Mazi Udechukwu maintained that even the Biafra restoration project cannot be driven to it's expected end, without respect of agitators to constituted authorities as ably created by the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) globally. He encouraged all family members to imbibe those sterling qualities our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his deputy, Mazi Uche Okafor Mefor are known for in the struggle. The need to exhibit high sense of discipline in our meetings, responsibilities and relationships cannot be over-emphasized, he further stated. He warned against acts of insubordination and sabotage. In conclusion, veteran Udechukwu Uwakwem Simeon read from the book of Romans 13:1-3 to clearly drive home his points. He encouraged all to be sincere, respectful and deny self as the fight to fully realize the total restoration of the sovereignty of the Biafra nation, can never ever be compromised.

Security concerns of the zone were strictly streamlined for effectiveness/proficiency. Other relevant issues relating to this were equally touch-lighted.

The Family Zone in keeping with it's resolve to reposition all it's units for effectiveness, duly reconstituted and inaugurated Unit 2 Executive. Key members were appointed and such include:

* Mazi Chukwuemeka Ahanonu .... Coordinator

Mazi (Engr.) Omono Omono .......Deputy Coordinator

* Mazi Nwosu Ndubuisi ...... Secretary

These were administered with oath of office by the Oginigba Zonal Coordinator, Mazi Onyedikachi Bright Uba while veteran Udechukwu Uwakwem Simeon led them in prayers. In his post-inauguration speech, the newly inaugurated unit 2 coordinator, Mazi Chukwuemeka Ahanonu expressed delight to the house in finding him and his colleagues worthy of appointment for service to their fatherland. He promised that the new executive will work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them. Mazi Onyedikachi Bright Uba advised them to work courageously hard in love, unity and understanding to ensure that the primary purpose of their appointment is not defeated. He encouraged them to eschew acts inimical to the well-being of the unit/zone.

Also appointed was Mazi Miracle Alfred Udoh who stands in as the Oginigba Zonal Acting Secretary.

The meeting subsequently adjourned following exhaustive discussions of all salient issues listed for the day.
