EXECUTIVE MEETING OF IPOB OBIO/AKPOR AREA 2 IN IGWEOCHA PROVINCE OF BIAFRALAND

EXECUTIVE MEETING OF IPOB OBIO/AKPOR AREA 2  IN IGWEOCHA PROVINCE OF BIAFRALAND

Appreciable number of members of the Executive turned up for the day's meeting which commenced with an opening prayer said by the Area 2 Coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor at 5:20pm, Biafra time. Obio/Akpor Area 2 in Igweocha Province, is one of the very vibrant local government jurisdictions of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, at this part of Biafraland. Exhortation was taken from the Bible book of 1 Corinthians  2:12-13. Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor, pointedly encouraged the executive members to imbibe the spirit behind the injuctions contained therein in all their undertakings as God's children especially at this stage of the Biafra restoration struggle. He harped on the importance of allowing the leadership of the Spirit of God in our lives by being spiritually inclined.

Mazi Onyedikachi Bright Uba, IPOB Oginigba Zonal Coordinator, who also serves as Protocol 1 in the Area, lodged a formal complaint of gross insubordination to constituted authority even within the leadership echelon, with a particular example. He called for definitive action to forestall such an ugly trend. This matter was extensively deliberated on by members with all, cautioned eventually to explore and abide by the outlined leadership principle of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), pointing out that further acts of indiscipline will not be tolerated.

In another vein, concerned invited members of leadership of the IPOB family in Shell Residential Area/Rumuokwurusi Zone 3, were strongly cautioned against misinformation, rumor-mongering and gossips. This warning was handed down to them by the Area 2 Coordinator himself after the submissions of those concerned. He warned against the dire consequences of flouting the principle of IPOB chain of command, reiterating that brethren in various units and zones should be adequately informed with relevant/verified information that will engender unity, love, purposefulness and dedication of the brethren to the struggle. The need for discipline, humility and submission was stressed.

The Chairman of Obio/Akpor Area 2 Elders Council, elder Njoku Ikechukwu Chukwunonyerem called for unreserved discipline and due respect amongst members, de-emphaszing class and position dichotomy. The Elders Council Chairman maintained that Biafra mentality as clearly being exemplified by IPOB leader himself, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, should be imbibed by all in all our contributions in the struggle. Corroborating this position was Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor, who emphasized that zonal coordinators remain superiors in their respective zones and so must be accorded due respect. He maintained that all stipulated disciplinary measures will henceforth be enforced amongst the executives who by their positions, ought to exhibit high moral standards amongst themselves in particular and the brethren in general. Other relevant issues aimed at strengthening and repositioning Area 2 for greater heights, were equally touchlighted.

The meeting came to a close at 7:38pm with a closing prayer offered by Mazi Wisdom Elochkwu Okafor.
