THE INSINCERITY OF NIGERIANS AND THE PROJECTED ENCLAVE OF DARKNESS

THE INSINCERITY OF NIGERIANS AND THE PROJECTED ENCLAVE OF DARKNESS

Amidst debasing anguish, pain, misery and timidity, the indigenous population trapped in the Nigerian contraption have given up their inalienable right of the cry for freedom, justice and equity which would have been alarmingly heightened to the hearing of the global community by all the concerned. The Nigerian leadership, by every sense of judgement, is bedevilled with the evil intent of suffocating and destroying the future as well as the development of precious lives. The spate of dehumanization and the hypocrisy of sincerity, have really aggravated the mediocrity level amongst the Nigerias. With a supposed upright and professional Judiciary affirming affidavit as certification for job procurement, thereby ridiculing academic/educational qualification for leadership, Nigerians regrettably, are yet reeling in want of reasons to embark on definitive revolution.

The pattern of insincerity already habitually imbedded in the citizenry, precipitated the uncontrollable uprising in the moral decadence and humanitarian abuse which have deliberately been imposed by the leadership of the Nigerian State. The blackmail and the steady annihilation drive against freedom of speech, association and expression brought upon the people and the media, vividly confirm the characteristics of a failed state, coupled with the antecedents of hypocritical and docile civilian population. These are very dangerous signals that could trigger off unprecedented implosion against inherent abnormalities in a despotic democratic government.

The vague of righteousness occasioned by the loud tone of deliberate insincerity and sheer display of mediocrity, have orchestrated an imposition of unbearable sanctions of increased taxation to the tone of 7.5% on the overbearing poverty-stricken populace by the Nigerian government. Presently in existence are charges on withdrawals of citizens' private financial deposits under the custody of various commercial banks. Everything despite all these, seems yet normal with no definite opposition or show of discord amongst the people or Nigerian human rights organizations directed at the government's insensitivity and oppressive policies. All these are targeted at totally destroying the future well-being and means of livelihood of the citizens.

The government has maintained deafening silence on the plights of the people. The deliberate act of infamy through this policy of negligence of the citizens' rights stem from gross security challenges, incessant power outage, deorable health care delivery, compromised judiciary and a cacophony of environmental/health hazards, resulting from crude oil spillages, etcetera. Things have helplessly fallen apart and the citizens in their hypocritical show of sanity and understanding, have become the symbols of debasement and misery. They now await visitation of some imaginary miracles that will help them get salvaged from tyranny, servitude and oppression.

And until Nigerians courageously shun the failure of purposeful insincerity and begin to uphold dignity and integrity with the ideology of equity, there is absolutely nothing beneficial that is going to happen for the better. That anticipated change will not come.
