IPOB OGINIGBA FAMILY UNITY MODE REACTIVATED

IPOB OGINIGBA FAMILY UNITY MODE REACTIVATED

The family zone of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Oginigba, in Obio/Akpor Area 2, Igweocha, Biafraland, through the instrumentality of the Obio/Akpor Area 2 Executives, successfully resolved recent contending issues associated with it's leadership. In it's last general monthly meeting held on Saturday 9th November 2019, appreciable number of it's membership showed up determined, to permanently bring to an end, what it viewed as unhealthy leadership intrigues, inimical to the unity, peace and growth of the zone.

The Obio/Akpor Area 2 Executives were led to the meeting by the Coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor. The meeting kicked off in earnest with condensed re-administration of IPOB oath of allegiance to all members gathered, as anchored by the Obio/Akpor Area 2 Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mazi Chijioke Onwuzuruike, following an opening prayer. The Obio/Akpor Area 2 Elders Council Chairman, Elder Njoku Ikechukwu Chukwunonyerem, heartily welcomed all and passionately pleaded for cooperation and sincerity of purpose in permanently proffering solutions to the issues that the zone had recently been grappling with.

The Area 2 Coordinator, Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor, leveraging on the report and recommendation of the zonal ad-hoc committee constituted to holistically look into perceived issues militating against the harmonious existence of the family, sternly cautioned against undue favoritism, biasness, lies and insincerity in the course of deliberations. He enjoined all to toe the path of truth no matter whose ox is gored, giving a reminder that grave repercussions await individuals that would go contrary to the principles of the oath administered. Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor maintained that IPOB was founded on truth, justice, transparency and incorruptibility, stressing that serving the Indigenous People of Biafra is basically sacrificial and God-ordained.

In practical/popular counts of majority opinion on the call for the replacement of the Oginigba zonal coordinator, 21 members opted in favor, 10 members opted against while 2 members were disqualified from participation due to their inconsistency in meetings. It should be noted also that some zonal members were absent in the day's gathering.

In the light of the above development, the Oginigba zonal coordinator, Mazi Onyedikachi Bright Uba was thereby relieved of his duties and his deputy, Mazi Ambrose Ochiemu, mandated to automatically take over in an acting capacity pending appointment of a substantial zonal coordinator.

Mazi Wisdom Elochukwu Okafor thereby enjoined all the family members to sheath their swords and work for the progress of the zone. He equally directed the zonal executives and unit coordinators to accord maximum support to the acting zonal coordinator during his period of stewardship for the enthronement of vibrancy, unity and growth in the zone towards the overriding interest of the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and her leadership. The need for all to dutifully abide by the laid down command structure of the movement in every sphere, was exceptionally stressed.

The meeting eventually rose with a closing prayer said by the Obio/Akpor Area 2 Coordinator.
