BARRISTER IFEANYI EJIOFOR'S HOME RAID: POLICE KILLED IPOB ACTIVISTS AND BURNT THEIR BODIES FOR A COVER UP

BARRISTER IFEANYI EJIOFOR'S HOME RAID: POLICE KILLED IPOB ACTIVISTS AND BURNT THEIR BODIES FOR A COVER UP

The Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Police Force in a Press Statement on Monday 2nd December 2019, alleged that two of it's officers were killed at Barrister Ifeanyichukwu Ejiofor's village residence in Oraifite, Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra State, Biafraland. In that press release, the police stated that "two police officers whose identities are being withheld, were killed by suspected IPOB members while others were inflicted with matchet cuts. The injured personnel were rushed to the hospital for medical attention and are presently receiving treatment".

Here are questions begging for answers regarding the above police report, viz:
Ejiofor

(1) If really the said murder of two policemen took place, why did the police command find it difficult to reveal their identities as a confirmation for further investigation?

(2) Why were the pictures of the killed police officers alongside those matcheted and rushed to the hospital for treatment, not published?

It is clearly obvious that the Nigerian Police Command in Anambra State, is desperately trying to justify and cover up both the unlawful invasion of Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor's residence and the killing of unarmed, innocent IPOB activists.

It should be recalled that during a peaceful protest carried out sometimes ago in Anambra State, the same Nigerian police instantaneously published the picture of a policeman claimed to have been killed by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Subsequently,  they were met with public disgrace when IPOB's captured and widely published pictures of the alleged killed police officer was seen standing up in their cooked up drama aimed at blackmailing the IPOB.

The event of Monday 2nd December 2019 at Oraifite, by the officers and men of the Nigerian Police Force, was one of those orchestrated plots of the Nigerian Islamic government, lined up to justify their "terrorist tag" on IPOB. The fact remains that they callously killed the two family members of IPOB, threw their corpses into their police hilux van and set them ablaze, as a cover up.

The unlawful, criminal raid and burning of a bereaved Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor's village residence is to say the least, another act of lawlessness, wanton brutality and anarchy the Nigerian government known for. This police expedition may well be the last provocative attack on IPOB that will burst the bubble. Enough of this reckless impunity!
