Following a confirmed report gathered by Family Writers Press International which revealed that the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) have started distribution of the food stuffs to every states in Biafra Land.

Barely 24hrs after, second batch of fully loaded trucks of more rice and other food items were delivered.

This was disclosed on Sunday morning, April 12, 2020 by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra on his official Facebook page.

Family Writers Press International had earlier reported On Saturday that “fully loaded truck of local rice and other food stuffs have arrived Biafra land as palliative awaiting disbursement to the people".

This was after the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Radio Biafra London pledged, sum of N300 million contingency, N50 Million approved to fight coronavirus pandemic and to provide food for the vulnerable in Biafra land. Following the two weeks lockdown order by Government Of Nigeria without provision for its citizens.

Reacting to the latest development, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wrote: "The second batch has arrived, third batch will be delivered direct to a location in Anambra.

"Distribution to homes and families started yesterday and will continue until all vulnerable families are fed. I am not under any illusion that this is a very tiny drop in a mighty ocean but with the help of numerous Biafran philanthropists, few conscientious politicians and grace of God, Biafrans shall come through this hunger and pestilence stronger as a people and more united as a nation.

However, he said IPOB as a unique body will continue to be there for the less privileged and defend them at all cost.

"We must be guided by our creed at all times and remember that our ability to defend those who cannot defend themselves is what makes IPOB unique". Nnamdi Kanu declared.
