IPOB Imo State Coordinator On A Peace Mission To Ekwereazu, Mbaise

IPOB Imo State Coordinator On A Peace Mission To Ekwereazu, Mbaise

The Imo State Coordinator of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Abraham, during the last weekend, embarked on a peace trip to Ekwereazu - Mbaise. Before now, existed leadership squabbles in this part of Biafraland, on who rightly occupies fits into the coordinatorship position. Addressing the family, the State Coordinator harped on the need for them to fix their eyes on the (Biafra restoration project) and totally disengage from everything that is inimical to the IPOB set objectives. Officers should strive at all times to provide leadership to the brethren. He strictly warned against acts of disunity amongst other unhealthy/self serving activities.

Mazi Abraham asked them to get focused on the primary reason why they got enlisted into the IPOB struggle.  He further reminded the people of Ekwereazu that the Igbos formed All People's Progressive Alliance (APGA) primarily to clinch the Nigerian presidential seat for the Eastern region as claimed but all that, now tantamounts to a mere wishful thinking. That initial intent got sabotaged due to selfish interests  and other internal leadership tussles.

The State Coordinator unambiguously maintained before Ekwereazu Mbaise family members that Mazi Onyekachi Eke remains their Coordinator. Therefore, any other person claiming otherwise is only showing himself/herself as an agent of distraction in the struggle.

In an interview with  Mazi Onyekachi Eke, it was revealed that the opposition to his leadership was orchestrated by one Pastor Mike who hails from Ihite Aforougwu. The Pastor claimed that the Ekwereazu Mbaise Coordinator (Mazi Onyekachi Eke), is not an indigene of Umuokrika but rather, hails from Isiala-Ugwuru, Mbaise, and so unqualified to lead the people.

The State Coordinator however, enlightened the family that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is purely undiscriminatory and so can select it's principal servants from any part of Biafraland so long such individuals are qualified members of the family. That someone is not an indigene of Ekwereazu Mbaise  does not in any way, make him/her ineligible for leadership within the locality a person resides. Mazi Abraham stressed that IPOB leadership in the State strictly abides by the laid down principles of IPOB High Command. The people of Ekwereazu Mbaise should desist forthwith, from forcing themselves into unmerited leadership positions and creating of divisions which serve as recipes for destruction. They were reminded of the part of the IPOB Oath of Allegiance which clearly stipulates: "If I do anything to endanger my fellow principal officer, may ChukwuOkike Abiama strike me dead". Let all be extremely careful, he further warned.

Mazi Chukwuka Fidelis, the Imo State Welfare Officer in his speech, reminded the Ekwereazu Mbaise family that the IPOB High Command has one core leader in the person of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu while in Imo State, Mazi Abraham is the Head Coordinator. In Ekwereazu Mbaise, it is Mazi Onyekachi Eke. This leadership structure has to be uncompromisingly followed and obeyed, he conclusively adviced.
