State-Sponsored Massacre Of IPOB Family Members And The Pampering Of Radical Islamic Terrorists

Radical Islamic jihad is a tumor. A cancerous tumor to any and all in the society. It predated modern civilization. In Nigeria however, vivid historical chronology has been accessible from early 1800 through 1945 and up to this veey era. The inaction of the colonial administration in the massacre of Biafrans in 1945 and 1953 respectively, set a dangerous tone but it was Obasanjo’s abdication of constitutional duty through the granting of Sharia to 12 Northern States of Nigeria, that buoyed radical Islamists and punctured a stunting secularity. (Again, I believe he did so by seeking the advice of neocolonial advisors, without consultation with Southern States). This blunder set off a chain reaction. Boko Haram's restricted and measured demand for blood escalated as Umaru Yar’dua, diedd. This was in part because many street urchins were under the influence of radical Islamists. Their indoctrination did not take long. The escalation had been anticipated as promised the infidels and moderates. Surely, they preferred a moderate Yar’dua to an infidel Jonathan. That is how they roll. These two camps (infidels and moderates), make up the majority and yet were irrelevant, (while one was captured by fear, the other was sympathetic and desirous of Sharia law). So, Boko Haram went on a killing spree. Its adoption of suicide bombings, school children kidnappings, beheadings, rapes, tortures, etcetera, was indicative of a good student trying to impress an idolized teacher – in this case, Prophet Mohammed.

Several terrorist groups now dot the landscape called Northern Nigeria. Boko Haram, ISWAP, Al-qaeda, Al-Shabab elements and Fulani herdsmen, (collectively named bandits) have a focal point: use of violence as a fulcrum for conversion. While enough blood had been shed, no Fulani terrorist has ever been arrested and prosecuted. At least not yet. Instead, amnesty has been given, rehabilitation granted and overseas scholarships awarded. The summit is the inscription into the military or reintegration into the society. It is this pampering that makes one agree that perhaps government knows more about the insecurity than it is admitting. The Issa Pantamized attack at every criticism as Islamophobia, just as they pretend that every person and critic they does not like Islamophobic, is a smear the public can see through.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been met with brute, crude and naked force for daring to challenge the unworkable status quo. Not even its nonviolent and peaceful disposition could mean anything to its traducers. A simple democratic and legitimate demand for a referendum has been visited with outright declaration of war. There is a plethora of massacre of unarmed protesters notably in Asaba, Aba, Nkpor, Onitsha, Enugu, Igweocha (Port Harcourt), Afara-Ukwu and so on. Presently, Fulani killer herdsmen have declared war on the populace. The Southern governors have grown a spine, for the first time and pronounced a ban on open grazing. In a full display of primordial hatred and hubris, the presidency ordered a military siege and a shoot-at-sight. While the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, was ordering a house-to-house search and murdering of Biafrans, the quota system Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, compared herdsmen killings to spare parts dealings in rented shops. This is totally absurd, wicked and double faced.

Once upon a time, Obasanjo yielded to the demand of Sharia in the twelve (12) Northern States. An unconstitutional process, yet the point should be made that no massacre occurred in that constitutional erosion. So, the mistreatment to IPOB can only be explained by the book “How The Leopard Got It's Claws.” In the book, Leopard the good King was conspired against by the dog and other animals and chased out of his kingdom. He later came back to reclaim his kingdom, banished the dog to human service in perpetuity.

In keeping with the story, IPOB now has Eastern Security Network (ESN). Lamentation is over and ths defense of Biafraland from terrorists is a badge of honor. For when a false equivalence is tendered, resistance is rendered.
