Imbecilic Jonathan’s Burden

Before the Biafra Heroes Remembrance Day held in Aba, Abia State, last Saturday, May 30, The Biafra Times sought the impression of the people on major issues occupying the social, economic and political thought of Biafrans.
It was discovered that what could best be termed “Jonathan’s burden” was a major issue among the people. They believed Goodluck Jonathan’s burden throughout his life and beyond would be the burden of having dealt treacherously with his own people. Majority of Biafrans insisted that the fact that he dumped his own people into jail and released every Hausa and Fulani killer would be his greatest burden.
They thought it wicked of him that Benjamin Onwuka and his colleagues, who were freedom fighters for Biafra would be in detention (being tried in secret) while all members of the killing machine, Boko Haram, have been released. Added to that, was that of Henry Okah, leader of Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND); and James Ibori, former governor of Delta State would still be in prison after his presidency.
