Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Has An Inalienable Right To Say He Is A Biafran

People have a right to decide whether or not to belong to any country. In Spain, there’s the raging clamour by Catalonia to be a separate country. In Great Britain, we just saw how Scotland pursued the same objective and failed at a referendum.
Whether Biafra or Lower Niger Delta or Upper Volta or whatever, it makes no difference, people have a right of expression to clamour for a country of their own. A right guaranteed by international law.
However, there’s a clear difference between clamouring for a new country and sedition. But that’s not the argument for today.
My concern is why Nigeria’s Secret Police, the DSS has remained mute about its alleged arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, who is also known as director of Radio Biafra.
Right now we don’t know and cannot tell except they confirm that he is truly in their custody. But the silence on their part is, nonetheless, queer given the global outrage that has greeted the claims of his arrest by Nigeria’s DSS.
The world needs to know if he was arrested and why he was arrested. It is after that is known that we can address it. #DSSSpeakOnNnamdiKanu
