NIGERIA A MOCKERY OF DEMOCRACY

Yakubu Gowon was the military head of state that ordered massive massacre of Biafra from1967-1970, and to him the issue of Biafra " is finished" and any agitation for Biafra restoration is a threat to" one Nigeria". He made these statements recently in reaction to the worldwide protests that greeted the unlawful,uncivilised kidnap of the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra and director Radio Biafra/Biafra Television. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu two weeks ago by the Islamic secret police of Nigeria,on his way back to Biafraland. Gowon also said that his joy is that "it is only them (Biafrans) the few that are there but the majority of the (Igbo-nigerians) people that I know are not with them...let them say their views,yes its democracy but with Biafra it is finished,it is not a threat". He went on to say" all I did (massacre of Biafrans) is not as a result of hatred against igbo(Biafrans) but on the principle of keeping Nigeria one...we used the term no victor no vanquished". Looking at the map of "one Nigeria"one will notice the question mark the mark of re-current agitation for Biafra restoration. 1. Did British lugard have the consent of indigenous people of Biafra before the amalgamation with Oduduwa and Arewa nation in 1914? 2. Why did Gowon change his mind after acceptance and signing of the Aburi accord in Ghana? 3. Why did Gowon used "starvation as a weapon of war" to kill over 3.5million Biafra children? 4. Why is it difficult for Gowon to admit that British assisted Nigeria commit genocide against Biafra? 5. Why did the three "R's.recontruction,restructuring.rehabilitation announced after the war began in the West instead of the East where the war took place?. 6. Why did Gowon choose to speak now that H.E Odimegwu Ojukwu is no longer alive to respond to him? 7. Why is it that since 1967 till tomorrow nobody has seen the "one Nigeria" in the map? Frankly speaking, Gowon is the face of bloody vampires that masterminded the killing of over three million innocent, helpless Biafra children, men and women. Gowon intentional killing of Biafrans (1967-1970) has been adjudged the worst genocide in the history of black Africa.
It is not enough for him to go about praying for one Nigeria,or wishing away the anger of Biafrans protesting the unlawful, extra judicial incarceration of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu or the unwarranted Islamic police brutality across Biafra land; Gowon should know that the same injustice of 1967 has deteriorated in spite of his no victor no vanquish pronouncement. Biafra are still excluded in the security council, denied political freedom, limits placed on their admission and promotion in the military, civil service and police. The sea ports, airports, railways, roads, industries across Biafra land all closed down. Gowon is the face of Biafra genocide and should be tried in Hague. One Nigeria is a hollow victory as long as Biafra land remains a neo colonial territory. We are sentenced to political servitude, economical serfdom and denied elementary human rights; our national identity stifled just to serve Hausa-Fulani oligarchy. Our leaders are imprisoned without trial, our youths and mothers languishing in various underground cells just for exercising their fundamental human rights and freedom. It is only those who accept slavery as their destiny that will continue to live under such humiliating conditions without asserting their right of self determination. The declaration of Biafra 1967, Mr. Gowon, is clearer to us now because it is the result of our fathers' attempt to protect themselves from Pogroms and organized extermination plan, executed by Islamic government of Nigeria under your watch. The kidnap and continued incarceration of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is an executive lawlessness, a shame and incompetence of #buhari's autocratic government. The worldwide protests even demonstration across Biafra land is evidence that we no longer tolerate the fraud and contraption called “one Nigeria". Nigeria a mockery of democracy; it perpetuates corruption, nepotism, and postpones political freedom. The protests like a whirlwind are a peaceful revolutionary means to effect our freedom and Biafra restoration. We are killed daily, but we have chosen to adopt United Nations guidelines of non violence and rights to self defence. We invite the international communities and lovers of freedom to shun complacency in this our bondage and national humiliation. Biafra means “come and join" therefore it’s imperative that you join us and hasten the release of our leader Mazi #Nnamdikanu and restore our blessed nation Biafra.

GOWON IS NOT ASHAMED TO SAY THAT THE ONE NIGERIA HE FOUGHT TO KEEP IS DIFFICULT TO GOVERN! DID HE THINK ABOUT THE LACK OF PEACE AND SAFETY, NOT JUST IN HIS HOME TOWN,LOCAL GOVERNMENT BUT HIS HOME STATE,PLATEAU. IT IS THOSE THINGS THAT CAUSED THE LAST BIAFRA WAR THAT HAVE MADE GOVERNANCE IN NIGERIA DIFFICULT! THAT WE DID NOT GET BIAFRA THAT TIME DOES NOT MEAN WE WON'T GET IT! TO YOU,GOWON, AND TO ALL AND SUNDRY WE SAY THAT BIAFRA IS ALIVE AND MUST BE RESTORED! BIAFRA WILL COME AS A SURPRISE TO YOU AND TO THE WORLD! ALL HAIL BIAFRA!
